    Scott Smith on Hibs TV

Ever watched an interview of a young player and been really impressed by the lad's wise auld heid, articulate manner and quiet determination?

That describes for me Scott's interview on Hibs TV

    The future's bright!

and that is how smithy is on the pitch. yes his language is a bit ott at times but he is very passionate about how the team and especially himself are playing.

just hope hibs sign him up long term asap as he is in his last year of his contract.

Anyone know what position Scott plays and how he is progressing?

Must be nearly 19 - same age as Pallson and Stephens?

Captain of the U-19s this season. Given senior contract last summer.

Plays LB, CB and DM AFAIK.

Saw this boy play against Hearts at Riccarton when he was 15 in the under 17 team and he was a colossal at the back. Very influential and passionate. He encouraged/talked/shouted/swore at his team all through the game.

Sure he captained one of the Scotland youth teams of late.

    Defo one for the future

    About 5' 10", I think.

More of a John Blackley than a Rob Jones!

Know Scott really well & he's a great lad, full of passion & a cracking left peg

Was at Tynie a few weeks back for the 19s derby cup game & the hearts fans in the stand were giving him pelters. Made me laugh cos all he was doing was showing a bit of passion & it was winding them right up!
