I was watching the Man U v Man City game a few weeks ago and sky added up all the league scores of every league game between them, it came to something like Man U 180 v Man City 140. Anyone know what it would be if you added up all the Hibs v Hearts league games?

Hibs 346 Hearts 432
Hibs W74 D78 L112
In 300 'Competitive Games'
Hibs 395 Hearts 503
Hibs W85 D85 L130
Overall it is approximately
Hibs 885 Hearts 1053
Though with the theory that stats are only good as the most recent;
Hibs are on a 2 game winning run. If they win on Nov 7th they will equal their best ever run in 'Competitive Games'.

I believe (<-- chortle, chortle) it currently stands at;
Hibs £3.6million v Hearts £40million.

considering that the fixture is approaching a 135 year history the competitive games ratio of 130 to 85 adds up to roughly one additional hearts win every three years
not quite the 'most one-sided derby in the world' / 'get to keep them if we beat them again'
line peddled by some of the yams
or have I missed something?

Though going back to pre League Days, Hibs 'annus mirabilis' was 1886-87 when they won all 4 games that season scoring an astonishing 20 goals to Hearts 4. Culiminating in James McGhee scoring 5 in the first 25 minutes in the Roseberry Cup (IIRC).
