On Sunday because Motherwell play at home on Saturday an the polis won't let Hamilton and Motherwell play at home on the same day.

The Parklife 2009 music festival also starts at 12pm on Saturday in Strathclyde Country Park. Was told that this was also taken into account by Strathclyde Police when requesting our game be moved back 24 hours.

The game was switched back in June as Motherwell play Rangers at Fir Park in the Saturday lunchtime live tv game, while there is a major pop concert festival - Parklife - on at Strathclyde Park on Saturday afternoon and evening. Motherwell will switch on the next occasion that there are other major conflicting events (ie: bath night or a signing on day) and they both find themselves playing at home.
