Still, sems to slightly contravene the idea, that was (and probably still is) becoming a reality of young Scottish players getting precedence over Lithuanina/FBK Kaunas imports.
Hardly a leap forward in terms of overall quality of the 1st team squad for HoMFC I'd imagine.
Does anyone know of this Cinikas' previous?? Is he more likely to be one of the cast of a thousand faceless, useless dross that Romanov has foisted upon Hearts - i.e. Barasa, Mrowiec, Ksanavicius etc etc etc or one of the few who are capable of having a decent game now and again - e.g. Velicka.

Marius Cinikas

Marius Cinikas is yet another on-loan player from the never ending route from Kaunas to Yamsville. He played two games for the Yams in their pre-season tour but was deemed not good enough for the world cup star strewn Yams outfit until Uncle Vlad told Shabby he was coming over by boat and was to be put in straight away in the Yams forst team after their £15,000 a week star Larry (pineapple Heid) kingston said that he is not fit to turn out for the Yams but plays every time his country comes a-calling. "I *** ear to ween tings" trilled an excited Cinikas, "Uncle Vlad says we win Champins Leeg soon so this why I *** to Tincatle. and learn from big fat player called Nade, he will help me in mittlefield as he never gets out ceercle in pitch" "Also I look forward go to deesco mit Clum, he very good dancer and has nice bum" "Also I hear half time we all get beeg macs and fries, which makes change, Kaunas we get to suck orange peel"

They'll not be happy on kickback about the move to Livi - there was someone on there slating Hibs and dismissing the youth set up because we let Moyes go out there on loan.
As for the incoming Lithuanian guy - did Plan F not already sign a right sided midfielder in Susan?
I think the new guy was on trial through pre-season but was roundly described as 'gash'.Follow the Hibs podcast, Longbangers, on Twitter (@longbangers)

It's on the cards that Almondvale could well become their new "home" in the not too distant future.
