Following agreement between the two Clubs, Hibernian can confirm the match arrangements for the forthcoming Co-Operative Insurance Cup Tie against St Johnstone.

Tuesday 22nd September 2009, kick-off 7.45pm
Admission Prices (Cash on Gate for St Johnstone Supporters):
Adults £15
Concessions £10 (18 and under, 65 and over and Students with a valid student matriculation card)
Disabled and Helpers £6 each
Season Ticket Members for 2009/2010 can purchase their own seat from Thursday 3rd September at 9am until 5pm Wednesday 9th September when all seats will be released for general sale.

Hearts always get the Wednesday and Hibs the Tuesday. Same rules apply for Dundee and Dundee Utd and the weegies, each team has a designated midweek day if both teams are at home

I recall us playing a friendly at Easter Road on a Saturday a couple/few seasons ago (may have been Leeds Utd and there was some trouble in town on the way home) and Hearts were playing (guessing again - Fulham) at Tynie same afternoon. Originally Posted by Joe Baker II

Did the hawrts game not kick off late afternoon/early evening? It was also broadcast on TV as Murrayfield could not possibly accommodate the remaining 360,000 fans who were desperate for tickets.

Makes sense for the Hearts to play on the wednesday as they are playing Celtic on Sunday as they have a Europa Cup game on the Thurs previous .
Also it suits me more on the Tues than the wednesday

Strange meeting St Johnstone twice at Easter Road within four days.
The last time I can recall Hibs doing this was against Dundee in 1993. They went all the way to the final that year.
