Former Hibs striker Garry O'Connor says he's a family man now and has had his neck tattoos removed and ditched fast cars in favour of a quieter lifestyle.

He is delighted with his late call-up to the Scotland squad for the final two World Cup qualifiers and says he is determined to stay a part of the Scotland set up in the future.

I think you'll find the residents over at Sickbag refer to the newspaper as ' The Hibsman '.

I don't think that there is any bias, just poor, poor standards of journalism.

Well said. The 'Heartsman' is notorious for its anti-Hibs agenda. They are forever having a go at us - them and the SFA, SPL, etc. Jealous the lot of them.

When you do use The Heartsman as chip wrapping and you find something oozing out of it, it's often impossible to tell whether it's sauce, vinegar or jealous cringe.

My OP was just a bit of tongue in cheek banter in the style of what would have happened on JKB had roles between reversed and some ex jambo was described as a Hibby.

I’m sure it was just a simple mistake made by a wee worker, just as Laslo’s resignation was last week. It just seems to me that when the Scotsman write about other peoples mistakes they tend to do so from the stance of a morally indignant 70 year old virgin church goer from Morningside in that they could never do any wrong.
