I would go with that but I would let Boyd come back in. He proved it against Hearts that he can come on and get you a goal.

Matches to goals ratio is very high.

    Rangers & Kille = 267 games 143 goals

    Scotland B U21 and A squad = 26 games 8 goals.

    Not to be sniffed at

Agreed, I would swap Boyd in for anyone in an instance, and probably start him. He must have one on the highest scoring ratios in the world. I was just goin by whats available to scotland right now.

Im not disagreeing with the fact Boyd should be playing, but he scored a debatable penalty in the last minute. Hardly picked the ball up beat 4 players and whacked home a 25 yarder

    Goalkeepers:

    Gordon
    Alexander
McGregor - prick, aye, but more reliable than Marshall

    Defenders:

    Stephen McManus (if fit)
Lee Wilkie or David Weir - experience and sensible heads (if fit)
    Stevie Whittaker
    Alan Hutton
    Christophe Berra
    Darren Barr
    Ian Murray
    Zander Diamond

    Midfielders:

    Kevin Thomson
    Scott Brown
    Scott Arfield
    Darren Fletcher
Michael Stewart/Paul Hartley - similar type players who are both hot/cold
    Shaun Maloney
    Barry Robson

    Strikers:

    Kris Boyd
    James McFadden
    Garry O'Conner
    Derek Riordan
    Steven Fletcher
    Ross McCormack

There are so many players who seem to go through spells for Scotland of hot/cold.

I've probably selected too large a squad, but that's my picks.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

IMHO this would be our best team at the moment:

    .Gordon

    Hutton..Caldwell..Berra..Whittaker

    McCormack..Brown..D Fletcher..Thomson

    .....McFadden...S Fletcher

We're out of the World Cup now so I'd like to see us make some changes with a view to giving us a real chance of building a side for 2012 Euros.

    Other players for the squad:

    GK Allan McGregor, Neil Alexander
Full Backs Lee Wallace, Paul Caddis
Central Defenders - Stephen McManus, Darren Barr
Midfield - Barry Robson, Michael Stewart, Scott Arfield
Wide Players - Shaun Maloney, James Morrison, Chris Commons
Strikers - Kenny Miller, Garry O'Connor, Derek Riordan
