On the theme of betting against the Jambos there's a great thread on Brokeback where a so called Jambo is jumping somersaults 'cos he put a tenner on the Huns @8/1 when Rangers equalised. His co-Jambos are not over-chuffed.

Won £87 quid on my coupon yesterday and my coupon today looks good too thanks to Rangers. Due to win another £32. Not a bad weekend.

im no gambler but do you not think you'd end 'up' on the season if you stuck a fiver on hearts to get beat every week?
all the other team needs to do is score 2 to guarantee 3 points or score 1 for a great chance of 3 points...

It was a weekly bet (in the good old days when games were mostly played on Saturdays at 3 pm) - Hibs to win, and Hearts to get beat. I must admit, any time I lost I would visit the bank to get a bag of small change to pay him his 'winnings'. - didn't happen very often I'm glad to say.
It went on for about a season and a half before he asked if we could drop it 'cos he couldn't afford to keep it going.

After man utd humping me during the week, was waiting on rangers for 70 notes, also had hibs 3-1, and rangers 2-1, all in all not a bad ending to the week, or.. the start of the week.

Had not a bad week myself
Had the scorecast on thursday @80/1 £5 on that.
Also done zagreb halftime/fulltime @5/4 £10 on that.
So stuck £27 on the top 6, waiting on liverpool for another £220

They're in my accumulator. Hopefully the rest of the teams can deliver aswell.
Lens have already won. Lazio 1-0 up(although Atalanta are running them ragged and will be unlucky to lose).
Looking like I'm going to have to rely on River Plate.
Hearts vs Rangers
Lazio vs Atalanta
Banfield vs River Plate
Grenoble vs Lens
Tenner returns £220.

2-0 Banfield at the moment. ****ing typical.
If the River Plate manager had any sense he'd have hooked Ortega after about 10 minutes. Absolutely dreadful now.

Interesting odds for Thursday's latest Hearts defeat:
Hearts 11/8
Zagreb 6/4
Will Dynamo just be going through the motions and resting players or will the lack of any pressure mean they'll stroll to another easy victory?

Bet Rangers at 5/1 at half time in Hills yesterday. Was more than happy to see the last minute penalty.

Hearts are now 50-1 to finish bottom.
Considering they'll struggle to score any goals this season, and have lost any decent players they actually have, then that's looking a better value bet by the day
