After his team rooted Norwich to second bottom (southampton -9) with a 7-1 drubbing, Lambert has been stuck in charge of the Canaries!

Find this a strange move as his team pumped them 7-1 away only the other week! Also, if im not wrong as they not big rivals?

You think Delia and co. just offered him the job at full time of the 7-1 game!?

Wish him the best of luck but Norwich just now are similar to Leeds Utd just now in that they are way beneath where they should be, and the fans are hankering for results week in week out. Brings its own pressure and in reality he needs to get them up in one season or a P45 is on its' way.

Not shown much loyalty to Colchester then! Especially after they brought him back into management.

Think lamberts been a bit shabby towards colchester and their fans in particular with this move, he watched his team pump norwich by 7 goals last week but somehow saw something encouraging re: norwich must be a healthy wage rise!!

We did indeed. Hibs 7 Livingston 0. I might be wrong but IIRC it was in the midweek immediately following the 3-0 cup win at Ibrox. Great days.
Seems a slightly strange choice when what you'd imagine Norwich need is a Roy Hodgson type figure to come in and steady the freefall they seem to be in. Lambert's still very much an unproven quantity.Last edited by Mag7; 18-08-2009 at 07:27 PM.

Garry O'Connor scored his last goal at Easter Road that day as well
We also had Riordan, Killen and Fletcher all on the score sheet... what we wouldn't give for a strike force like that today

From a Norwich point of view the best way to reply to a 1-7 reverse is to nick the other teams coaching staff. If anything would silence the gloaters at Colchester, that would do the trick.
