And that's including the decent away support.

There was at least 10k there today, pretty sure I heard the announcer say 13,000 odd at one point.

Given the opposition, the general economic malaise and the fact that we have not yet made any high-profile signings, I think close on 13.5k is a decent home crowd for this fixture.
And the fact that they witnessed some entertaining football AND a victory will encourage them all to return and bring some friends with them.

Today was my first game without a ST in years, it's odd how you take that for granted despite the initial expense but nearly pop a bollock when it's £34 for yourself and a 3 year old to watch a game of football.
Not that we didn't both enjoy it, but stone the crows something has to be done about the prices up here.

what kind of crowd did you expect?
IMO just shy of 13500 is a good crowd considering the circumstances

Average crowds over last few seasons have been in the 13,000 range, mybe a little more.
"Slightly disappointing" maybe, but in the present economic climate and allowing for all the other factors already mentioned, I certainly wouldn't say it was "piss poor".
And it's the fans of the OTHER club in the city who love to tell all and sundry how "big" their club is. Don't confuse US with THEM....

I came on here to see what the crowd was and I think 13k+ was a decent turnout.
Anyone disappointed with that needs to get back to licking windaes.
Game over.

The second largest crowd vs St Mirren since the Premier League was formed. Considering there were crowds of 4,000 odd in 1990.
