it is with real sadness, that greg Mclernon has passed away, greg was very well known, a real hibby and a true gent, for those who are old enough might remember greg who used to jump about with the St Giles boys as far back as the late 70s early 80s,some great memories from those days! thoughts go to sue and the kids,
RIP

Is that Sue from the Hibs kids? Not that it matters really. Still terribly sad times for the family.
Condolences to all who knew him.

Just read this post after reading the news last night.
Greg was one of the Good Guys. Spent most of his working years in Scottish and Newcastle, going from the lab to becoming a Team Leader in the Brewery. Always looked after his guys but was a good Hibby through and through.
Special mention to Sue and the bairns after their sad loss
RIP Bud

God Bless
I knew Greg from the Lorne Bar a long time ago! My husbands uncle worked with him at the Brewery!
This is hard to ask but how did he die? I'm only asking because my family are asking me!
God rest you in peace!

Sad to hear the news. Another of the good guys passes on. I knew Greg to say 'Hi' to in the passing but our paths had crossed from Flora Stevenson's, Scottish & Newcastle and of course the Hibs.
Would have liked to attend the funeral on Monday but unfortunately won't be able to....RIP Greg.
