Would Hibs fans have done this?

The Everton fans cheering Lescott's every touch after he stated that he wanted to leave Everton to join Man. City.

Well I suppose it all hinges on whether there is one player on the staff that you would be sad to see go.
I like Riordan, despite his flaws, but......

I think you know the answer to this already which is why you asked....

I can only think of a few players in the last 30 years that I've watched that haven't been boo'd on their return to ER or after they have suggested they wanted to leave. And that has been regardless of how good they have been for us.

I personally disagree with this and have never boo'd an ex player, never seen the point as surely it will make them want to try harder against us e.g Paul Hartley.

Im pretty sure we were the same with Scotty B after he had signed for Celtic. Infact he still gets a resonable welcome when he comes back to Easter Road.

Well Fletcher said he wanted to leave after we rejected a Celtic bid in January, and we didn't boo him for his attitude. So yes perhaps, depends on who it is as well

We're less likely to boo folk that we'd like to see back at Easter Road. So folk like Scott Brown are likely to get better treatment.

I was at the Everton game last night... Malaga's goal was definately the best free-kick I've ever seen in the flesh - Proper PING!

I seem to recall Scott Brown getting plenty of applause during the match with Celtic after he had agreed to sign for them.

Especially when he equalized and set up the finale for a Hibs win.

Not bad - in fact, quite good, really.
