It was hilarious. You have to give the Dutch credit but it should not be happening. A huge sporting shock

Hilarious viewing!!!
To only score 60 odd runs in the final 10 overs, a period of the game when batting teams with plenty wickets in hand are supposed to accerlerate, was abysmal from England. India, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, those teams would have put 200 odd on the board batting first tonight.
Well done the Netherlands, you deserved it!!!

First time ive watched 20/20 cricket. Have to say that was one of the best matches ive seen in any game. Maybe just because england were so bad but it was so exciting. Especially going down to the very last ball.

Always good to hear of England having a bad day.
But if this is cricket, it isn't cricket as I understand it...

Its an attempt to get people who see cricket as a boring day long snobby sport interested, and it seems to be working.
I was at the Scotland v South Africa match on Sunday and it was a brilliant experience, even just to see the best one day team in the world.
As far as England getting beat, funny yes but its actually not very good for Scotland as the Dutch and Ireland are more in our league and the more they win games the more we are expected to and thus more pressure is put on the Scots.
Up until 2007 Scotland were the best of this bunch of teams and would regularly hound Ireland and Netherlands, however we now seem to be on a downward spiral and these two winning games is not good at all for our reputation and future in the sport. Scotland need to pull off a big shock of their own and soon.

The reason why i was disheartened by the Dutch beating England (after initial amusement) was that teams who are full test teams (with the possible exception of Bangaldesh) are way out of our league and our real rivals are the Dutch and the Irish. If these tams keep winning and we keep going backwards, we are doomed.
Eg. before the 2007 world cup we were the only associate team with a 60+% win percentage, we now have one of around 40%.
