    Mark Fotheringham

    former Scotland under 21 player Mark fotheringham, 25 was released by Norwich today, anyone know much about him?

    Hes a central midfielder, and former norwich captain...

    Could he do a job?...

    Does he have extra strong neck muscles to give him the ability to watch the ball sail over his head all game as we bypass the midfield though???

    Not rated by the NCFC fans and subject to disgraceful treatment from the Carrow Road boo boys a number of weeks ago. Stripped of the captaincy the next day and didn't feature again.
    If there is one thing I would say about Fozzy this season is that he may not have looked the best player but it was obvious he gave 110% and played a captains part, talking and geeing up the team when in all honestly Norwich are ****! I thought he was a scapegoat for a poor midfield and you could see that Norwich missed his dig after he was dropped.

    I would have him at Hibs, tbh. Probably a players player and likely to irk the ER boo boys at times. A midfield of Fozzy, Rankin, Bamba and Stevenson next year?

    Thouroughly nice bloke though. Had a chat with him at a Norwich Soccer PM training thing (their version of the Hibs Kids) about the internet rumours that he was signing for us in January window just past. He laughed nervously but didn't deny it at the time!
    Kris Renton and Simon Lappin both volunteered to sign for us! Fozzy was then good enough to draw my laddies name out of the hat for a signed NCFC ball!
