You have to watch the whole clip to appreciate the genius and realise that the ball was about twice the weight as they are nowadays!
Anyone top that?
...if anybody can recall any fantastic hibs free-kicks then all the better!

Remember me and the mates trying to copy that the following day. Think we had it down to a fine art just before it got dark on the Sunday night.

Every time we tried something like that it ended up in tangled legs or a passback.
i'm damned if i can remember a great hibs free kick though...I hope it's the memory and someone can refresh it.

I'm looking for koemans chip against england in the early nineties at wembley when everyone could see it coming but the keeper.
That was one of the best but oddly enough i cant find it. please tell me that goal existed and i think it stopped them from getting to the 1994 world cup.

Sauzee hit a few decent ones. I also remember a cracker from Michael O'Neill at Ibrox.

Did Fletcher not score a decent one a couple of years back at Easter Road?
Trawling through the memory banks just now but if I'm hazarding a guess, it may have been in a pre-season friendly, possibly against Boro or Charlton?"Play for the name on the front of the jersey and the supporters will remember the name on the back"

Another Joe McBride special at Tynie from '86 (from memory) - Blackley was the manager. Joe curled it in off the inside of the post and Henry watched it all the way! Right of front of the home end too... they must have loved seeing such a fine piece of skill.
Finished 1-1, from memory we gifted them a corner and they were awarded a penalty from the resulting scramble in the box.
I remember biting into a pie on the terracing that day and the grease ran out and landed on my new-ish (suede) shoes. Typical of that dump.
