    You have to watch the whole clip to appreciate the genius and realise that the ball was about twice the weight as they are nowadays!

    I remember di canio doing something similar at celtic and hitting the bar...but the original free kick would now be illegal!

    Every time we tried something like that it ended up in tangled legs or a passback.

    i'm damned if i can remember a great hibs free kick though...I hope it's the memory and someone can refresh it.

    That's doing my nut big time. What year was that again?

    I'm looking for koemans chip against england in the early nineties at wembley when everyone could see it coming but the keeper.

    That was one of the best but oddly enough i cant find it. please tell me that goal existed and i think it stopped them from getting to the 1994 world cup.

    Did Fletcher not score a decent one a couple of years back at Easter Road?

    Trawling through the memory banks just now but if I'm hazarding a guess, it may have been in a pre-season friendly, possibly against Boro or Charlton?

    Another Joe McBride special at Tynie from '86 (from memory) - Blackley was the manager. Joe curled it in off the inside of the post and Henry watched it all the way! Right of front of the home end too... they must have loved seeing such a fine piece of skill.

    Finished 1-1, from memory we gifted them a corner and they were awarded a penalty from the resulting scramble in the box.

    I remember biting into a pie on the terracing that day and the grease ran out and landed on my new-ish (suede) shoes. Typical of that dump.

    It has to be the Derek Townsley one against Motherwell a few years back at Fir Park, was actually world class
