Yep - as much as it sticks in my throat, they were the better team over the peace, and it took some amount of nerve to win it in Detroit.
The Redwings looked as if they felt all they had to was turn up, and it cost us dearly.
Babcock out! (I jest!)

Well done the Penguins!
The Detroit Red Wings are a bit like Celtc or Rangers for me ... don't care who beats them!Last edited by PC Stamp; 13-06-2009 at 04:01 PM.

Congratulations to the Pens. :
Didn't think the team would manage it; having to win in Detroit is a formidable task at the best of times nevermind when its game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final

NHL Draft tonight!
My predictions
Think it's gonna be Duchene on Long Island. Tavares would be my choice but this is the New York Islanders and I've long learned not to expect the conventional.
Hedman to Tampa - they'd be crazy not to pick him..
Leafs will unsuccesfully try to trade away every asset they have to Colorado for that 3rd pick and Tavares.
Hope I'm wrong and JT joins the Isles.

Seriously. Anyone who tries to cross our blue line next year is either the bravest man alive, or the stupidest.
