it made the madrid goal all the sweeter though especially with usual pre match english arrogance with talks of the scousers winning by two or three lol

Aberdeen still the last team to beat them in a European final.
Pleasing and a great relief. They won't go away, however, not whilst Klopp is on the scene.
He's taken Liverpool to three Champions League finals in seven years. In the league he's had to deal with Pep and a Man City with limitless money. He's a brilliant manager who will keep Liverpool at the top table. I think Real Madrid is the perfect next move for him: a winning machine and that lovely Spanish weather. Have a think about it, porcelain mooth.
The part about him being offside from the initial bit of play with Alisson being out his goals makes sense.
But with the Fabinho/Konate part being added it doesn’t because that Walton was saying something along the lines of ‘if it’s an intentional deflection then he’s still offside as Fabinho doesn’t try to play the ball’ but that’s exactly what he did do, he made a play for the ball to try and get rid of it.
Suppose it’s all much ado about nothing seeing as Real are kings of Europe once again.
you mean the Barca who’ve got less European cups than Liverpool, and have never had more than them?
or the Barca who are dire financial situations because they spent far too much money and thought the authorities would never call it in?
or the Madrid who basically spent hundreds of millions buying galacticos over the last 20+ years? And that Madrid authorities bailed out of a dire financial situation by buying their old training ground for about 20 times it’s actual value? Bid 200 million for mbape last summer? They’re literally the club that started the throw loads of money about model of operating
madrid were deserved winners last night, courtois had a blinding game, making a lot of saves (6 from Salah alone!), but your nonsense implying they don’t throw money about is utter tosh
:trumpet::clown:
my point was madrid and barca were proper massive clubs unlike most of the jumped up pub teams from england like your man cities and chelseas of this world liverpool and man u are the only proper big clubs from england the arrogance from the scousers last night was hilarious though they actually thought they were going to pump real madrid hahaha england and finals dont go
No English team will ever come close to Real Madrid.
Didn't watch all the game as was in London at spurs ground yesterday. Some ground that.
Bit did see thought Liverpool were poor. Think read lost 4 of 63 this season so pretty much good as any other English team ever.
Someone posted a few weeks ago that Aberdeen would be due a £1million promotion clause on Scott McKenna if Forrest win tonight.
Based on that I’ll be cheering for Huddersfield.
mckenna is the most improved player this season. shows what applying oneself and proper good coaching can achieve. great example to any young players coming through. probably helped his development by not playing the same opposition multiple times each season.
I hope Forest do it. They have been out of the big time for too long and will always be synonymous with the great Cloughie.
That's a penalty for Huddersfield for me.
How on earth is that not a penalty to Huddersfield?
Not only that the boys booked for what is quite clearly not a dive

Honestly what is the point of VAR if it's not going to overrule decisions like that?
agree it could have gone either way think maybe the way toffolo went down didnt help him. mckenna having another good game doing the simple stuff well clearing lines etc..fair play to him. nice to see a scot do well.
That's a good 2nd shout for a pen there too

That's another stonewaller for Huddersfield.
They don't want to over-rule fatty Moss in his last game.
I honestly have no idea what the rules of football are any more with some of these decisions.

Terrible refereeing today.
John moss is having a mare here
Why not tell the keeper to get off behind the goal?

Absolutely bizarre that Var didn't look at the second penalty complete stick on pen. The first wasn't sure about it but bizarrely seemed to show a better angle showing clear contact after the decision was taken.
Huddersfield 0-1 Nottingham Forest - full time.
Nottingham Forest promoted to the Premier League.
Huddersfield robbed.
We know all about being cheated out of penalties in the playoffs. Brutal after such long seasons. Refs are utter dog**** and deserve all the stick they get.
Well done Forest!
Absolutely sickening for Huddesfield. The 2nd one is as clear a penalty as you’ll ever see. Ridiculous.
I like Steve Cooper though. Well done Forrest
Well done Forest but should've went to extra time.
Do Aberdeen get cash from the McKenna deal with Forest getting promotion?
the magician that is steve cooper gets his reward at last. what a season since he took over forest not sure that will ever be repeated.
Auxerre and St Etienne relegation play off second leg all level into injury time bt sport 2
Now extra time
Poor game at Wembley I thought. Not many chances.
Nice to visit Wembley again though.
Can an admin please rename this to just "Non-Hibs games thread"? Don't see the point in starting a new one every season really.
