Hearing he has had a heart attack. Hope he is ok and pulls through.
Dumbarton boss Jim Duffy recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The 61-year-old was taken to hospital in Glasgow at the weekend after suffering chest pains.
Tests have since shown he suffered a heart attack and he has been moved to a specialist cardiac unit on the outskirts of Glasgow.
However, he is understood to be recovering well and hopes to be released soon.
The Sons boss had to undergo routine Covid-19 testing, as is normal for all hospital patients, and has had further tests.
Ironically, popular Duffy is a teetotaller and non-smoker and has had no prior health issues.
He told SunSport: “I felt an excruciating pain in my chest when I got up on Saturday morning.
“It was so severe that I went to hospital and tests showed that I had suffered a heart attack.
“It was a shock to the system when you hear it but I have been well looked after since.
“In these circumstances it’s worse for your family but my wife Joanne and kids Paul and Kim have been coping OK.

All the best i hope for speedy full recovery
He’s very good on superscoreboard. Listens to others opinion and doesn’t go overboard. Has been saying for a few weeks it’s time hertz and Partick moved on as it’s dragging our game down. Considering his connection to the jags that was very big of him. Always comes across as a decent person imho.
Speedy recovery Jim. Wishing him well.
Really sad news to wake up to, speedy recovery Jim!

wishing him a speedy recovery, comes across as a good guy
I know Jim through the whiskey jar in Tenerife, every time he got the sack he'd get on a plane to the sun and have a holiday there. Just drinks tea and sits in the sun reading his paper. Couldn't help myself when I first met him, but now he's just one of the lads who enjoys that pub and the bar staff who make everyone so welcome. Hope you get well soon Jim.
Met jim duffy when I was a youngster, very nice guy.me and a couple of mates went to buy tickets for a game and after we got them noticed the gates were open at the stadium so we went in round the touchline and sat in the dugout.jim came up round the touchline from east/famous corner, and came over.we thought we would get shifted but he came over for a spraff.was a wee bit star struck at the time.big man in person.always liked jim duffy, although it wasn't a great time for hibs,me and my mates were ever present at easter road in they days.the wee white wall kept you close to the action and players were a good laugh back then, likes of charnley and hughes, lee power.get well soon jim.
