Yes he is an expert on infectious diseases. I always turn to him here for advice on the matter.

Absolutely pointless referring to the protocols set in England for their 2000/4000 fans. On match of the day there was singing, no social distancing in fact there was hugging and celebrating!
England track and trace is useless so no outbreaks would have been highlighted from individual games. I think it’s a safe assumption that all those large gatherings played a part in the rise of prevalence in England
The went from full lockdown to 4000 fans in games, it was so obviously a dead cat to take attention away from other areas of their ‘handling’ of the crisis.
Absolutely agree, it was incredulous that we went from lockdown to 4,000 fans (in some places) in the space of 24 hours.
All whilst a new variant (that they were aware of) was starting to spread.
I've not seen a single person/news outlet question this stupidity either.
Unfortunately IMO there isn't enough to talk about for 2 different semi finals on 2 separate nights. I thought they would have covered the semis on the Friday night & they did. Only Jambo in the studio was Mikey Stewart. As always he gave a fair & honest view on both games.
Thought we were going to get through today's programme without a mention for their beloved Jambos, but no, a wee mention of some scheme they're doing to buy virtual tickets for the game v ICT. What they didn't mention is that it's being done as a F-U to the rest of Scottish Football, for their 'unfair' relegation! ICT also having been affected by the season being curtailed (and of course they have Robbo as their manager).
Scott Gardiner, CEO at ICT who blabbed out all the WhatsApp messages live on Sportsound. Just happens to be the former Chief Executive at Hearts who was in charge of building the new stand that’s still not finished.
More of a connection than Robbo

Steven Naismith unfortunately on Sportscene tonight.
Being a horrible **** Naismith actually speaking quite well about Hibs.
Maybe the tosser is trying to talk his way out of the PBS. Let’s face it, his Messiah role has worn a bit thin and, if they’re seriously thinking about surviving in the big boys’ league, he’s not the one to do the business for them........ Stephen Naismith? ......... nah, Stephen Naechance! :greengrin
He pays for Christmas meals for the homeless in Liverpool and Glasgow every Xmas and takes time out his day to serve them to them too as well as ploughing a lot of money into charities. I think his wife is loaded too and both them do a lot of work for free.
Still a complete bawbag on the pitch mind you.
Don’t know if this put on here last night?
The BBC have had to apologise to the 1st minister, after Craig Levein said she should resign, for suggesting the old firm Derby should be cancelled
Think he’ll be rested for a bit

Aw come on, it was just a bit of a laugh don’cha know
With no Celtc or the Rangers playing I wonder how much coverage they will get today 😉
Ross County v Hibs is the commentary
The summariser they have at Dingwall on Open All Mics (footballer, Leanne Crichton) is absolutely dreadful.
Monotone voice, sounds completely bored, and when they went over to her for Hibs second, she sounded completely devastated. :greengrin
Nice tribute to Alistair Alexander just now.
