Agree with that, the only concern I have is that I feel he spills/dives to ground and palms away, shots that he should be holding onto.
Wasn't too sure at the start however can't have any complaints in the last few games and when you couple that with his excellent distribution, I'm happy with how he is doing.
I think he's been excellent.
I always thought Williams was over rated but I got the impression people weren't taking to him simply because he wasn't Ben Williams.
He's made some good saves, only conceded one soft goal (wee daft cup at ibrox), he's not made any howlers, comes for crosses abd generally caught them without any fumbles and he's scored one and created another.
Hope we can keep him past January.
Mark Oxley - The keeper who scores and assists goals!
I like him. He will get better with more games :agree:
His confidence has grown since the 1st couple of games where he punched a few and looked nervous but TBH I have no worries with hin between the sticks and he seems to communicate well with his defence.
He scores. He assists. He saves.
All rounder :greengrin
Reasonably happy with his defensive work, but the thing that really stands out is his distribution, both accuracy and especially distance. I've never seen a goalie send his clearances into the far end of the opposition half so often.
I'm honestly not sure how I'd rate him. I've watched him a few times, he does tend to dive on a ball rather theatrically when there's virtually no threat at all, he did it against Sevco a few times, and against other teams recently. His distribution seems okay, he flaps a bit, but in all honesty we've had some really awful keepers at Hibs, he's nowhere near as bad as that. Jury's still out for me as to whether he's really that good, I suppose time will tell.
Can hardly remember him having anything to do in all the games we've played so far. Equally, I don't think he can be faulted for to many of the goals we've lost.Only criticism is that he parries things a bit to often for my liking. Distribution is very good. And he was superb at wasting time on Monday night without picking up a booking!
I rate him- his fielding of crosses was excellent on Monday night and his distribution is as good as Ive seen frim a Hibs keeper.
1 assist and 1 goal - canny be too bad :greengrin
He's another solid average keeper which is a relief as I was worried when Ben left that we would go back to the crazy's like Brown or Zibi.
I really like him. At first I wasn't too keen on him, he punched balls out of the box rather than catching them too often for my liking but he barely did that on Monday.
Ha Ha! .... nice one Brian.
Kenny was in some of the classes we used to attend at Napier College for our work in the print industry.
He was a nice quiet bloke and ok to work with.
Funnily enough, shortly after the 0 - 7 match, he seemed to vanish completely from the Course!
Canny blame him really. :greengrin
Not that I would advocate it as a way of playing, but his accurate and powerfull kicking is a simple and effective way of getting the ball into the danger areas. Mig come in handy when the muddy cut up pitches come around.
He's probably been one of our most consistent performers. In the nicest way you don't really notice him, which given the bad old days of dodgy keeper after dodgy keeper suits me just fine.

He's not outstanding, but solid enough.
In reality he is as good as we can hope/expect to have playing at this level, and I hope January does not throw up any problems about a replacement.
His beard is cool - but not as cool as Forster's :agree:
If his loan is up in January I'd like to see us extend it to the end of the season. We won't get better in this league with our budget.
