Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure to get there early!

Ice Nine Kills were absolutely incredible in Glasgow last night. The music was imperious but their stage show/theatrics are excellent.
Horrorcore indeed
I'm going to see Pink in Sunderland on Saturday. It's a bit of an event for us as I was supposed to see her in June 2019 but was in hospital having surgery for bowel cancer. I was gutted and thought it was probably my last chance to see her. 4 years later I am currently healthy and finally getting to see her. It marks a big win for me and my pals who had to go without me last time.
Lead singer is a massive horror fan, and their entire back catalogue are references or nods to horror stories, so quite possibly?
Edit: Taken from the Wiki entry on Cat's Cradle:
The metalcore band Ice Nine Kills took their name from the eponymous substance ice-9 and are fans of Vonnegut's work.
Im going to watch Secret Affair at the sheffield Leadmill in October. A mod revival band from the earlyish 80s. From memory "time for action" was their biggest hit. They are playing the voodoo lounge on tge same tour as well as the Cavern Vlub in Liverpool. Some interesting venues.
Anyone seen the videos of the Arctic Monkeys homecoming gigs? Might just be bad videos, but the crowd are awful!
They opened with A Certain Romance and there's folk just standing talking during it. Crazy!
Arctic Moneys and Milburn was my first ever gig back in 2005, on the back of just a few downloaded songs and before the album. Place was absolutely rocking. To see that the other night shocked me a bit.
I was there. Not sure where the videos were taken that you’ve seen but I was in the front pit and it was class. Admittedly, during a couple of songs from Tranquility and The Car, the crowd lost interest (ignorance if you ask me), but on the whole, they had us eating out of the palm of their hands. Generally do feel outdoor gigs do lose the atmosphere of indoors gigs.
Sam Fender in Newcastle on Saturday was incredible for atmosphere. Then he brought out Brian Johnson from AC/DC. Incredible.
First time at the hydro tonight for wu tang and nas.
Going to train it to charing Cross and do the 20 minute walk rather than change and go to Central than exhibition centre.
Anyone know if there's a decent chippy near by?
Hoping to get tickets on Wednesday for Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens and Static Dress at the Hydro in January.
Got tickets today for PJ Harvey at the Barrowlands in September. The first time seeing her live for me, really excited.
Was supposed to be at Depeche Mode in Dublin today but had to cancel last minute......Some lucky couple got them for free, couldnt be arsed trying to sell them & happier someone gets them that will enjoy it (well they better)....Just sitting in the back garden trying to Enjoy The Silence...
I was a peeved when I missed out on tickets for Big Countrys anniversary gig in Gala in September ( mostly down to the fact I kept forgetting to purchase one ) , so I was delighted when they announced an extra gig due to the demand for tickets, straight on the website and bought one , really happy . I've got Skids tomorrow night , then The Silencers next week and Sleeper in September it's a bit like stepping back in time
I was in Manchester for their 2nd night there at Old Trafford. It was brilliant and the crowd were buzzing.
The Hives are a brilliant support act IMO and Arctic Monkeys are just a well oiled machine at this point. No real interaction with the audience but don't think anyone expects that. The screens are cool AF and new material like Body Paint sits well along side the classics. And they're mixing up the sets with a few changes most nights.
Tempted to go to Bellahouston aswell tbh.
Got tickets today for Bob Mould at the Liquid Rooms in November. A solo electric set so hopefully a sprinkling of Husker Du and Sugar songs in the set list.
Two great gigs in a row - Saturday Admiral Fallow and the Proclaimers, followed by Richard Thompson last night.
If anyone spots any good but relatively inexpensive Peter Gabriel Glasgow OVO tickets please post here.
I'm not paying TM prices and the cheaper seats are miles away, but if there's a sale before the show I might be interested.
If it counts, tickets for the restless natives podcast go on sale tomorrow
Doune The Rabbit Hole has been cancelled.
