Going to see Nigel Clark ex Dodgy and Chris Helme ex Seahorses at Dr Bell's tomorrow night, looking forward to it.
Support to start around 6.30/7 apparently.. curfew 10.45pm.. so I'm guessing Liam and the lads will be around 8.30/9?
Not sure how it works though, maybe they leave a fair bit of time between acts as they're was talk of Dj's playing for the VIP ticket holders etc. There are bars within the gardens (note you can't leave and return, once you're in the venue)
Ghost at the Hydro in November, nothing else lined up for this year sadly!

Was babysitting the grandkids tonight while my son and missus went to the Proclaimers gig at the Hydro. My daughter in law wasn’t feeling too great so I’ve been lumbered with her ticket. Sitting in the arena with a nice glass of red ........!beats babysitting.:aok:
May go to see Happy Mondays on the greatest hits tour, all the standing tickets are sold out (cambridge) but they have seats which suits me these days. Last time I saw then was Glastonbury 1989 I think.

It's an uncomfortable venue.

And From the Jam in March
Got tickets for The Who at the Hydro in Match.
Elvis Costello in Sheffield and Pet Shop Boys in Glasgow next March.
I'm also going to see a covers band called The Classic Rock Show in Harrogate in February. Check them out on YouTube or their own website.

Then it's Headsticks, Rifles, Setting Son's and Futureheads (not sure which order)
Fab 70s Welsh guitar band Man in Kinross on Friday.
Last year at the punk festival in Blackpool, i was talking to this lad in a bar for a good hour about music. He left and we left and met him again later that night in another bar, where we spoke again for another hour or so.
Just before the pub shut, i'd told him over the course of the evening how i'd never really got into punk.
He told me to look on youtube tomorrow and look up a band called the adicts, only turned out he was their drummer.:greengrin
They were headlining on the sunday night i think.
Nice lad who talked about all sorts of music, but i still think its sheite. :greengrin
King Creosote has just announced a series of shows where with his 9 piece band they will play “From Scotland with love” in its entirety accompanying a screening of the film. I saw this performance at Celtic Connections in 2015 and it was absolutely magnificent. Would highly recommended seeing this.
