Certainly did take time to read that post, as I did the two diametrically opposed to it. I know which ones summed up Nisbet’s position perfectly. Opinions, eh?

Had a fantastic season and is now looking excellent on the International Stage. He has been a SJM type signing in being of huge value very quickly after signing, guaranteed to make us a huge profit and may well make us money in future sales. It is win win whether he goes or stays and I hope we continue to try and get the best of young players with potential. I can't believe any Hibs fan thinks he was holding back in the final when all 10 outfield players were as bad as each other. Wish the chance Irvine had could have fallen to Kev.
Nobody is “sell him now” material because of that one cup final.
I pretty much agree with your post above though. Albeit my point was how pathetic this thread has turned - with a quality moment for Scotland and Nisbet resulting in our player being called a prick and Scotland fans being slagged for the same and apparently only going to the odd game (all around the world) because one person once said a bad word to another poster.

Football players are mercenaries breaking news.
Some of them happen to build an affinity with the clubs they play for. It’s more difficult for them to do so when they have never played in front of the fans of a club. It’s also more difficult for fans to build an affinity with a team without seeing them in person.
Anyway this thread is a car crash and a great example of why this forum is becoming pretty torturous to read.
A Hibs player scores for Scotland and we end up with a thread littered with petty bickering and insults. Not our finest hour. Thread closed.
