T20 Cricket: Euro T20 Slam

This was mentioned on the ODI cricket thread but there’s a new t20 franchise tournament launching in September with 2 teams each from Scotland, the Netherlands and Ireland. The Scottish teams will be Edinburgh Rocks and Glasgow Giants.

The Scottish leg will feature 10 games at The Grange in Edinburgh from 6th to 12th of September with start times of 1030 or 1430. Edinburgh v Glasgow is Friday the 6th at 1030 which strikes me as a major mis-step but there you go.

Rumours abound that this will be cancelled, 2 weeks from the start. Lots of rumoured money problems at the GT20 in Canada which is run by the same company. A couple of teams allegedly refused to play for a while as a result.
