I prefer signing players that are younger with a hunger to improve, not players who are on the wind down. Of course there are exceptions for real quality but I don’t think le fondre is one of those

Yeah, you are correct I totally had that one wrong. Was convinced he came from non league and we were hoping for a Jamie Vardy-esque find. I still think there's less risk associated with ALF than a Dagnall type signing but you never know in advance how a player will settle or fit in.
So not even a wee hint at who this loanee is[emoji6]?

If someone is signing today, I really hope it’s a striker or midfielder.
We really need another option up top and someone to replace Dylan is essential IMO.
Time to forget about Bartley. Brings nothing to the table and as far as CDM performances go that was as bad as you will see last night. Time to move on.
not sure what's going on with Marv, one of my favourites and(for me) first name on the team sheet for games v sellick/sevco/sparryheids but watched him when he played at falkirk in the development team tail-end of last season and he was very poor
Might just be as simple as age catching up with him. He's just turned 32 and they said last night this will be his 4th season with us, the position he plays is a very demanding role and requires a lot of energy and physicality, it couldn't last forever.
As has also been said his position is also a lot easier when he has a Dylan Mcgeouch or a Scott Allan beside him demanding the ball off him at every opportunity.
