I was talking about the Motherwell policy that didn't just impact a couple of seasons bottom line a wee bit but played a part in leading them to going into administration when Boyle was at the helm (in partnership with the high wages they paid to the likes of Spencer etc). That's not a price worth paying.

For me, to get a kid hooked on going to Hibs (or any given team) games, away games at Tynecastle/big rivals aren't part of that landscape, at least not initially. Getting them down ER/home ground regularly and enjoying the experience is key, as is and then keeping them coming back for more, and that's where clubs could show a bit more imagination as far as matchday experience and ticket varieties go.
