I caught a bit of Barry Robson's interview after Raith Rovers lost to Linlithgow Rose at the weekend and he said he wasn't bothered about the result at all because he had run the players into the ground during the week and they were pretty fatigued, he could have eased off the Thursday and Friday but that would have been counter productive when it was a fitness exercise and it had given him the opportunity to see a few young players and how they coped. I think Gray will be approaching this in the same way. The result is an irrelevance; it's all about match sharpness and minutes in legs. I wouldn’t read anything at all in to the team. Not who is playing, what the shape is or anything. None of the international players or players on the door slightly later are there. It’s just a game to get them moving. It does give the young boys an opportunity to go and show something though.
