Thought it would be worthwhile to have a thread to share travel options, pubs, etc. I have documented my details here for folks with maps of pubs and restaurants in Herning. https://hibsineurope2025.wordpress.com/

Good wee blog you’ve got there. A wee heads up, though, the European Campaigns page looks like it has lots of incorrect information on it. Don’t think we were in Europe in 2017-18. I don’t think we’ve played Asteras Tripolis twice. Not sure we’ve ever played Dinamo Tbilisi or RFS. Luzern is missing
Looking for hotel recommendations in Copenhagen for Tuesday and Wednesday night, preferably the cheaper variety 🙂
Depends on what your looking for but this place has a mixture of dorm/private rooms and is only a couple of minutes walk from the central station. Has a happy hour for cheap beer too

Ta - I'm booked into this place - I saw the stadium name below - thanks both

It looks like a 90 minute public transport from the airport.
I've cut it a bit fine with my flight times I think.
a) Does anybody ken what time the match starts?
b) Anybody booked transport from the airport yet? Happy to rent a car and share of anyone wants to.
Cheers
Anyone know off any or have any plans to run a bus from Copenhagen?
Logistically would be a popular option I'd assume.
Dunno why your wasting your money lads , they've beaten us already and are in the hat for the next round .. source .. theyre manager
Any chance the club will do a charter?
yes booked one next to the pubs. Travel I have looked into - looks like they lay on transport for events. Use Trivago for hotels. Initial travel info on site https://hibsineurope2025.wordpress.c...o-the-stadium/
Cabin hotels are a chain, usually basic and can be relatively inexpensive, Scandic hotels are good and have a great buffet breakfast! Comfort hotel at Vesterbro maybe? Near to the main train station.
Hotels and cheap in Copenhagen are not words that go together that often!
Was expensive when we flew on team charter to Copenhagen
Interesting to see how a charter works when there is potentially limited supply of tickets. You’d normally expect that a ticket would be included in the price of that.
I think the topic of charter flights was raised at a fan event and it was said they may be offered if we reached the group stage. More difficult to offer during the summer due to costs of securing an aircraft in peak season and short turnaround time between draws/ties.
Flying Scandinavian Airlines on Tuesday, booked in to Scandic Regina in Herning for 3 nights .
Fox and Hounds boozer 200 metres away and next to the railway station.
Sorted.

There are still some reasonable options available.
Couple of direct flights out of the Wednesday sitting at £220 with Norwegian and SAS. That is obviously fairly steep one way but you can balance it out by getting back for a fair bit cheaper. Multiple options back to London and Manchester ranging between £30 and £60. Flying back via Manchester myself and got the train back up the road for £30.
I managed to get the SAS flight at £150 not long after the draw. Had looked at going via Hamburg but was a bit more limited as couldn’t take the Wednesday off so out on the SAS flight at night. As I say, the cheap return route made it possible. Same route home was cheap and the price of the trains in Denmark a massive bonus.
Might be worth noting there are regular passport checks on trains between Germany and Denmark.
I saw a woman who had the crazy idea of carrying a photo of her passport on her phone. Not American by the way.
The cops took her off the train.
We're on the 9am back to Copenhagen on the Friday morning, any idea if this goes to the airport or will it be a separate journey from Copenhagen to the airport?
we are on that as well, trains run every 20 mins to airport from copenhagen and take about 15mins,
Öresundståg
We are on the 8.59 Herning to Copenhagen Airport. There are a couple of changes but direct to the airport from Vejle station.
We land at Billund airport on the Wednesday at 16:20 from Heathrow.
Anyone travelling up to Herning from Billund airport figured out the logistics of their travel yet?
We are in Ostergaard Hotel I think, looks quite central to the boozers and train station.
I'm arriving at Billund Airport earlier in the day from Amsterdam. The quickest way by public transport is as follows I think - bus to Give St from Billund Airport then Train from Give St to Herning. Costs just over a tenner total I think. I imagine these times might work for you:
You can search more here.

Another way to go is bus to Vejle, then train to Herning. Takes longer, but more regular buses from Biillund to Vejle than there is to Give St.
Surely be some ticket info out soon.
Is anyone getting the last train out of Herning after the game?

:agree: use this all the time in Germany - also check as they have tickets for groups of 6 or more that are really cheap (check if cross border) but effectively 6 can be same cost as 2 sometimes... if only we had such transport..
Wife trying to go to Sandy from Pitlochry £200 quid ish  in Germany that would be around 25 euro's
What do we think is the best way of transport from billund airport to herning. 5 of us arriving from London at 16:20 on the 23rd
Still looking for 2 x spare tickets for this. Both STH's, Pre-booked all our travel and hotels and missed out.
Hope this is OK on this thread. If anyone has any joy with this please give me a shout - you won't have to buy a drink all day :) :hnet:
I'm still looking for a ticket too.
Same as Bobby's Cinema, all booked up etc but without a ticket in the sale.
Thanks in advance.
