Should we be looking to cut their allocation to 1500 for our game against them. Fill the ground with the good guys 🇳🇬
100%
This will be a game that we could almost sell out the entire stadium with Hibs fans. Slash the allocation.
I was actually thinking about that today ,definitely should do it and get the club told we’re up for it ,honestly think we wo7,d sell our allocation out would love it ,I know we’ve the Huns at home at the split but are we not at Celtic away
Give them the reciprocal 2/3% which includes the gap between supporters.
Do what celtc did to us, offer them a couple of blocks and once sold offer the next blocks.
I know the flaw is that they are guaranteed to sell all the tickets.
If we can sell 18,000 tickets, then why not.
We only get 800 for Ibrox so ~2k for Easter Road is more than generous
Think we will be away to Celtic but my point was more that we shouldn’t be making differences between them...we announced a reduced allocation and the shut off bottom corner blocks for Rangers but not Celtic...whatever we are doing should be for both in my opinion
As soon as the fixtures are released sell half the stand to hibs supporters. Maybe block 7 might like a change. 🤣
What did we give them for the 5-5 game? Half the Dunbar end? Give them that, or less if possible with segregation
Absolutely. Dundee Utd should also be getting their allocation cut too
Can't be done, clubs have to agree away supports before season starts, next season however we should go for it!
400.
Probably won't get too many complaints from the Sticky Buns if we do this. After they get pumped by Rocky Balboa on Thursday night their season will be over anyway .... for some strange reason they have done well in Europe, but the club currently 4th in La Liga who don't even concede a goal a game ... nah, that's a step too far.
400 seats in the middle of the South lower, no working toilets in the upper section.
Would give the Huns 900 max.
Dundee Utd always seem to be pretty fair with us.
Get the tickets on sale to Hibs fans as soon as the date is known and say we will sell as much of the south as we can down to the exact proportion they give us 2% or so.
Let them know their allocation a week before the game as well.
I agree as soon as we know the date against them open up at least half the south to us ( I personally for one game would move there to help make sure we see our lot ) we’ve got to make it clear asap to our club we don’t want them getting there usual allocation ,the disgraceful behaviour from them the day we honoured Ron Gordon
Get the allocation cut, it’s about us not them. It’s our ground, our rules, lock them in if they haven’t left by 15 mins before the 90.. Just the same as they do with visiting fans to they’re sh*t hole..
We should justify it on the basis that - statistically - there is an increased chance of supporters being sprayed when Rangers get a full away allocation, so, in the interests of supporter safety The Rangers allocation has been cut
I’d put 800 in the corner where we were. I know there are no seats and they’d be behind a wall, but still…
Folk complaining about our allocation for Ibrox.
Saturday 3 o'clock kick off, on the best run of most of our lifetimes and great chance of getting a result and we still struggled to sell our allocation.
Give them less tickets by all means but saying it's because they only give us the same percentage is just daft.
Most folk can't be bothered with the hassle that attending these games bring and the toxic atmosphere and behaviour of the Hun neanderthals.
It's particularly uncomfortable when there's only circa 900 of you.
Our small allocation at Ibrox, generally, makes it an unenjoyable experience, and, as shown at Parkhead a few weeks ago, it immediately becomes a more enjoyable/safer experience when there is considerably more tickets available.
Are we going to let the gadgie who was sitting all alone at hunbox in?
Or is he still there waiting on his new pants to arrive?

Still dont see the point, we dont have 2 or 3 pager for tickets at Dundee either, but if we can sell half the south stand to Hibs fans when we play Dundee or Dundee Utd, then we should, even if it restricts their support from coming?
And the same point stands with the huns.
give Sevco half of 1690
845 is more than enough
The absolute dire thing about going to Ibrox is the audacity they have to close the gates and lock away fans in 15 mins before the end of the game and hold them there until they deem it’s safe to left them out. Utterly ridiculous and shouldn’t be allowed.
If the demand is there from Hibs fans then they should be the priority. I supposed from a business perspective you have to factor in the additional stewarding and Police costs but if the seats aren't just sitting empty then that may be worth it.
It's game we are highly likely to have demand outstripping supply so look after our own. They always say they will boycott or whatever next time we give them the full allocation but they never do so it's not even a consideration.
If Hibs did split the South Stand, we'd have to take into consideration that there would be a few hundred seats left empty for segregation, so that would be additional income missed out on.
Plus the behaviour at games in recent times, from certain Fan groups, has gradually worsened so stewarding/policing could be a problem.
There's been games at Ibrox in the past when we've only sold half that.
Always been easy to get tickets for Ibrox up until the championship years than it was impossible. Back to going to general sale now and no problem getting a ticket. The demand for 1500 tickets on Saturday simply wasn't there.
To help out ItsNotEasy, who is doing a wonderful job of talking down the Hibs support here, and just off the top of my head, the last 5 away games I've been to were all sold out away ends & none of those were Ibrox or Tynecastle:
Ayr United Away = 3000 sold out
Celtic Away = 7000 sold out
Tannadice Away (first game) sold out behind the goal, new stand opened up for Hibs support (also sold out)
St Mirren away (sold out)
St Johnstone away (sold out - full stand behind the goal and half of touchline stand - all sold out)
If we're playing well and can shift the tickets give them the minimum, if we can't open it up on a block basis for them, it's our stadium our rules if it winds them up even better
Might go against the grain here but I actually like big away supports whether it be at ER or us taking one elsewhere.
Adds to the occasion.
In any case the Hibs support is far too fickle to halve supports when we feel like it. I don’t think we’d maintain a 50/50 split in the South thus making us look silly going forward.
It still sold out within hours of going to general sale on a day that we were playing a game. (3 weeks before the game as well)
I know of people who didn’t think they were able to go at that point who were then looking for tickets later on - we’d pretty comfortably have sold an extra 6/700 tickets in 3 weeks.
If we’d only sold it out days before the game last week you’d maybe have a point but these were all gone a week before sales usually start for away games
Not sure the Hibs support is any more or less fickle than other clubs to be honest? Argument could be made the support is magnificent, and in large number has stood with the club through many low points.
Of course we can halve away supports when we feel like it, it’s our stadium - and surely if Hibs fans want tickets we facilitate the demand where possible?!
And as for looking silly… it’s no primary school mate. When the demand is no longer there for home fans in the south, sell more to the OF, simple as that.
I’d be giving the huns 50% of the south (at the very most) for the post split game this season.
Oh I'm totally all for slashing their allocation, and we all know the SPFL's rules and what they actually enforce are quite often very different things.
Based on the block closest to hibs fans we've given Dundee and tracing that into the upper tier, I'd guess we'd lose around 400 seats for sale (roughly £15,00 income?), please the increased cost of security and policing. Obviously I don't know those figures and let's say £10k increase for the afternoon? £25k to bring in an extra 1,000-1,500 Hibs fans to the game is well worth it imo.
Half stand for the currants confirmed.

Buy, buy, buy! :greengrin
Huns down to four blocks, absolutely beautiful. Well done Hibs
I really don’t wanna start getting in that argument with hearts. Otherwise they’ll reduce us too. While we might get less, it’s still basically the full stand barring some of the bottom corners so let’s just not cause an unnecessary war. Cos then you need to start with different segregatation outside the ground too

Well done Hibs, and well done us for growing our crowds enough for this to happen.:top marks
Brilliant news now we as supporters must play our part and sell all of the seats available to us ,and then for next (hearts apart)season carry this on
Now all we need is for Polis Scotland to keep the huns back after the game till we are clear and march them up to their busses/Waverley Station.
30 minutes should be enough, and not to forget, we don't let them use the toilets whilst waiting, just like us at Ibrox!
Good. More Hibs fans in the ground when we pip them to 2nd place.
Is the Hibs Rangers game on TV do we know yet?

I would give them no tickets. And I would encourage them to spend the ticket money and travelling cash on a dentistry plan.
Probably a game where we could cut the allocation and there wouldn't be as much of a hysterical reaction from the bears. Can't imagine they'll be that desperate to get to matches now their season is over :greengrin
Interesting the first few tickers sold in south stand are right next to Huns fans..
Co-incidence or ?!!
