Not expecting too much here, if Murray wins a set he'll be doing well.

Murray 1-0,on serve in the second set.
Great hold from 0-30 from Murray 5-5 in the second. Murray is getting a bit worked up at times, his body language isn’t great, I don’t know why because he’s playing well.
Tie break.
Murray loses the second set after having two set points.
One set all.
Fluffed his chances in that tie break. He's playing fine but if his head goes then it'll be over quickly.
He's got to get this business with the shoes out of his head and focus. Where are his spare shoes FFS??
Murray rolling back the years absolute legend. Will be difficult physically from 1 1.
Murray breaks 2-0 in the 3rd
Murray takes set three!
What a performance from Murray. Hopefully finishes it off.
Brilliant from Murray. He's hitting that backhand so sweetly. Also I'll never tire of seeing the backhand topspin lob which he did in the 2nd set tie break - a thing of absolute class.
Really hope he can keep this going.
He is such a fighter. Also such a brave player. Whatever the outcome of the match Andys confidence that he can compete with the best will rocket.
Looks like this is going to five sets.
Tsitsipas 3-0 up fourth set.
5-0 Tsitsipas.
Murray gets one of the breaks back.
Still 2-5 down.
5-3...👀
We're going the distance, Tsitsipas wins the fourth set 6-3.
Tsitsipas breaks straightaway in the final set.
Not looking good sadly and Murray's distracted by Tsitsipas taking so long to restart the match.
I don’t watch as much tennis as I used to but I think the level of play is so much higher than even a few years ago.
Murray allowing the situation with Tsitsipas to mess with his head.
Chance for Murray to get it back to 2-2 but Tsitsipas holds.
3-1.
Tsitsipas wins 2-6 7-6 3-6 6-3 6-4.
Great match, nearly 5 hours!
Murray could have won that.
Tsitsipas pulling out a Djokovic stunt
Murray not a happy bunny!
Fact of the day. It takes Stefanos Tsitipas twice as long to go the bathroom as it takes Jeff Bazos to fly into space. Interesting. 🚽 🚀

Yep, that's what it reminded me of. Feigning injury at crucial points of the game.
The 'toilet' break was ridiculous. Eight minutes?! The guy has previous for it, taking his whole kit bag into the toilets including his mobile phone. The suspicion is that he's texting his coach.
Murray was entitled to be raging. If you read his full quotes it's not sour grapes either. There's no self pity there, just a rational (if heated) criticism of the way the way his opponent was bending the rules to the max.
Emma Raducanu taking her good Wimbledon form into the US Open by winning in straight sets in the first round.
Poor loss for Cameron Norrie yesterday losing in straight sets.
A lot of support for Murrray's views from fellow players:

Dan Evans has equalled his best run at the US Open by getting into the third round after beating Marcos Giron in 4 sets.
Tsitsipas booed back on to court after taking another eight-minute toilet break immediately after losing the third set:

It's out of order. That sort of interruption will clearly have affected his opponent's momentum.
After more than 4 hours Dan Evans comes back from two sets down v Australian Alexei Popyrin and is through to the last 16.
He now plays number 2 seed Daniil Medvedev.
Emma Raducanu looks likes she going to be a very special player. Absolutely destroying her opponent tonight.
Had match point for a double bagel but settled for 6-0 6-1.
Her opponent was no mug either, had beaten Barty at the Olympics and top 50 player.
Barty out. Shelby Rogers it is. Great chance for Raducanu
Dan Evans loses in straight sets to Daniil Medvedev.
Raducanu is making short work of Rogers in the last 16. 6-2 and now 3-0
11 games in a row. Ridiculous!
This kid's a star. So cool too. Konte might have bottled it when the American started to find her game late on but Radu just kept producing the goods.
6-2 6-1 win for Emma.
Bencic next, Olympic champion and 12th in the world, far tougher test but the way Emma is playing she can absolutely do it.
I like the US Open. Total contrast to Wimbledon. Always a racket going on, music at the breaks, folk running up and down the stairs getting food and drink. It's laid back.
It's a huge stadium too - at least the Ashe court is. More comfy too without some sweaty matron from the Home Counties pressed into your shoulder all the time trying to glimpse Cliff in the Royal Box or whatever.
I speak from bitter expereince!
Emma is undoubtedly a star. Brilliant how she responded to her Wimbledon disappointment
I didn't see the match but that's an outstanding win.
Absolute donut I work beside took enormous pleasure in announcing today that GBs new tennis star isn’t actually British (his words) but Canadian and started comparing her to Rusedski and even Lennox Lewis. I didn’t hold back, pointing out she has been living in England since she was two years old and recognises the UK as her home. Also said I’d rather look at the positives of having an enormous talent represent GB than looking for something to hold against her. He softened his stance a little after that but blamed the press for going OTT for someone who wasn’t born here. Maybe they should put a little asterisk next to her name when reporting on her.
Think I might avoid cheering Justin Rose on in the Ryder Cup since he was born in South Africa
Shaky start for Raducanu. Loses the first two games.
Absolutely stunning from Raducanu - wins the first set 6-3 by winning 5 games in a row and now a break up in the second set - 4-3!
Raducanu wins - through to the semi finals without dropping a set.
Outstanding.
Jeez, well done Emma.
What a talent. What a player.
You don’t get to the semis of your second grand slam aged 18 without being a bit special.
I don't think there's been a tennis player who has exploded on to the scene like this since Boris Becker won Wimbledon as a qualifier. Amazing stuff and a real shot in the arm for the women's game.
Jamie Murray into the men's doubles semis too (as is Joe Salisbury) so a good day for the Brits.
Jamie Murray into the men's doubles final. Seeking his eighth slam title. Not bad going for a guy who's largely lived in his brother's shadow.
It's been said before but if it weren't for Andy's phenomenal achievements, Jamie would likely get more credit as a pretty remarkable British sportsman in his own right. For a pair of siblings to have enjoyed such successful sporting careers must be quite rare - and surely unique when it comes to Scottish tennis players!
Wow just woke up to find out Radacanu is in the final. She’s so close to making history now. Apparently the final is on at 9pm tomorrow night.
I didn't see any of it due to the time it was on but Emma Raducanu has won again in straight sets to become the first British female to reach a Grand Slam final since Virginia Wade in 1977 and the first British woman to do it at the US Open since Wade in 1968.
She's also the first qualifier ever to reach a Grand Slam final and she's done it all without dropping a set!
What she's done so far is actually incredible.
She was playing an experienced 17th seed Maria Sakkari but by all accounts she blew her away. She will now play a fellow teenager in the final, 19 year old Canadian Leylah Annie Fernandez after she had a stunning win of her own against the number 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka.
I'm not usually a massive viewer of women's tennis but I can't wait to see this on Saturday.
Come on Emma!
I honestly thought the 2 experienced seeds would end the runs of the teenage upstarts. 😂
Win or lose in the final, Emma has made such an impression.
Will the final only be shown on Prime ?

19-year-old Leylah Fernandez will face the 18-year-old Emma Raducanu on Saturday for the title.
It will be the first all-teen final at the #USOpen since 1999, before either was born, when a 17-year-old Serena Williams beat an 18-year-old Martina Hingis.
1997 final.. Martina Hingis (16) / Venus Williams (17)!!!
As well as the other records which are being broken, I wonder if this must also be the first Grand Slam final featuring two Canadian born players?
Watched it, what a performance. Was break points down in the first set but was not phased. You could see at Wimbledon that she was a bit special.
Her speed and quality of return of serve was amazing. Her opponent in the semi had a high serve speed but she got most of them back. Seems to have a great temperament as well. Will be watching on Saturday.
Noticed no line judges all done by hawkeye.
On channel 4 now too
The pre-match interviews must be the most pointless part of any sporting occasion ever. WTF was that all about?
Anyway...come on Emma!
Interesting how she deals with the pressure, bearing in mind her Wimbledon experience. She’s looking very relaxed at this point.
Maroon sweat bands, but green and white trainers. Clearly a homage to the Edinburgh derby.
What a game 2. Has made me turn off the football. 2-0 Raducanu.
She’s as cool as a cucumber as well. What a girl.
I think the Canadian girl will win through in the end. She’s had tougher matches and will hold her nerve better as the match goes on. Hope I’m wrong.
Good hold from love 30 there from Raducanu. 3-2
What a match already.
How good are these two?
That was impressive from Raducanu, she looked really powerful 4-3
Raducanu wins the first set 6-4!!
Come on 1-0 in sets
Get in there Emma. First set!
If I can be critical of two brilliant players fernadez is missing too many first serves.
Insane standard of tennis shown. Insane from two players as young as they are. What a game of tennis so far!
Emma white and green trainers. Die hard Hibs fan,
Big hold from Fernandez to make it 1-1.
