The performance schools were around before him. They were the idea of Mark Wotte, based on the recommendations from the Mcleish report back in 2010. There is no doubt that giving kids an extra 9 hrs of football a week will improve them, and we are seeing that more in the last few years. Brave was much more about reorganising pro youth football across scotland and imo its been the biggest white elephant from the SFA yet! Project Brave has realised the square root of nowt, so much so that they have just announced yet another report which also appears to propose absolutely nothing of substance.
