Anyone know what Livi TV's like? Will be able to watch with Cliff Pike's dulcet tones? Hope it's better than the Molde away coverage, £8 for single camera with no commentary.

It’ll be Livingston’s commentators and it’s £20 I think

£20 for our family of 4 here, can't see the issue with that myself
£20 is fine for Saturday afternoon tv to see the Hibees and clubs have to survive too.
Happy with that. :agree:
I'd probably have paid £25 to get in so splitting £20 with one or two others is decent enough for me.
20 quid to see the good guys go back to the top of the table?
Bargain :greengrin
Certainly not going to grumble at watching the hibs for £20. Doing a wee bit to help other clubs get through the crisis as well. All clubs have to make it worthwhile for their own STH’s.
Will pubs be able to show this?
£20 is good considering you can watch live with other people. I think they were charging £24 for a ticket last season so it is more than reasonable
St Mirren charged Livi fans £12.50 yesterday.
Will this be on Hibs tv for international viewers?
Think the hibs club was showing it yesterday, and advertising that they are again this week. Not sure how they get around it but seems strange.
Exploiting is a term I’d use for Livi’s ppv prices. I’ve said my piece on the other thread last week so won’t labour the point, especially as I appear to be in the minority. I will say that I think fans of all clubs have more than stepped up at this time and as such the vast majority aren’t looking for value for money from their season ticket. I hope Hibs don’t charge anything like the £25 needed for value for money. £10 - £15 is fair IMO, I say that as a season ticket holder.
From Saints Chat (St Johnstone fans forum):
Livingston £20
St Johnstone £17.50
Dundee Utd, Killie, Motherwell & St Mirren £12.50
It's an interesting debate.i renewed because Hibs needed the money. The way things have worked out though, I'll be a bit pissed off if PPV is less than £23 or so at Easter Road, even though it wasn't my original motivation for renewing, times have changed, and that's where I am now
Likewise. Would be a bit of a kick in the stones if a non STH got all hibs games for less than a STH. Wasn’t the original decision maker for me as I’d have renewed regardless of scenario, but not it’s done it wouldn’t be right. Good on Livi for also looking after their STH.
Do we just go through the Livi website to purchase?
It shouldn't be on at the pub, and when Sky slap some fines on pubs, that'll quickly stop. I don't think £8 or so difference would put people off buying it. I think it should cost the same as a match ticket, given that's what STs have paid for the coverage. As others have pointed out, it represents quite a saving when compared to taking the whole family to the game. Also, you are in control of the temperature of your HT pie, which has to be a bonus!!
I just hope if Hibs do indeed make it a consistent price with the ST, people don't use it as the standard stick to beat the club with
I'm not paying £20 to watch the game on the TV.
It wouldn't be so bad if there was a group of us and we shared the cost but that's way too expensive.
As an away fan there are limits to how much I'd pay to get into the stadium and there's a limit to how much I'd pay them to watch a game on TV.
I happily paid Hibs for Season Tickets I'm not going to fully use... but that's because I'm a Hibs Fan. I've no great desire to pay over the odds to help out Livi or any other club.
Are international HTV subscribers getting video for this?
So did we once upon a time. I follow hibs away from home for that reason, to follow and support Hibs. Never really crosses my mind who my money goes to. I’ll pay the PPV to watch hibs, however at times like this I’m more than happy to know that my money will help contribute to the recovery of Scottish football.
PPV now available to purchase for Saturday via Livingston FC website. Once you’ve paid you get the option to select home or away video.
Very simple to do, just purchased PPV for Livi. £20 for me and my girlfriend to watch the game, which would usually cost us £40+, not bad
Registered lets hope the stream is good.
Stupid question but will this play on my samsung galexy note 10 phone?
Bought, works out a fiver ahead for our family of 4 😁
I think that £20 is fair enough. Just hope that we win now.
Happy to pay the money. I'm hoping Jack Ross learned an awful lot from the xmas game there...
Its a game where we could really do with Docherty (please hibs!) and Gogic in there. A win would be a cracking result considering Levi's record there last year. But it should also, absolutely be what we are aiming for. Would be some statement going 2 wins out of 2.
Rangers charging £9.99 😉 Which I think is about right for a game on the tele .
I’ve paid for a season ticket and we will get into ER at some point this season .
Not a chance in hell im paying Livi £20 but I would have paid £9.99
Just signed up. Probably a bit on the steep side but worthwhile to see the Hibees.
SPFL PPV Table
Livingston £20
St Johnstone £17.50
Hamilton £15
Dundee Utd £12.50
Killie £12.50
Motherwell £12.50
St Mirren £12.50
Rangers £9.99
well done those clubs charging between £9.99-£12.50
fair prices
Ticket purchased and will watch with at least one of my brothers. With two, maybe three, of us watching it has cost significantly less than an single away ticket would have done to attend the match in person where I’d have to wait in queue for an hour.
Each club can charge what they want and folk will either pay it or choose not to. Can’t help but think Livi are trying to cash in on fans’ goodwill when compared to the majority of prices everyone else is charging.
Clubs should have agreed a set price across the board IMO.
Hope not but Hibs are stuck between a rock and a hard place . All this , Hibs better not charge less for the ppv than I paid for my season ticket.
Most of us bought the ST fully knowing we wouldn’t be at ER anytime soon, but wanted to help the club at this difficult time .
But buying it guarantees our seat ,when we are allowed back .
Maybe Hibs will let ST holders have free access to the Hibs tv to soften the blow some might feel if the price is kept in line with the lower end ppv .
I will be watching the Livi game with 8 people who would have otherwise gone to the match. Collectively that’s a £160+ worth of match day income Livi will miss out on - I don’t begrudge paying them £20 to be able to watch the game.
Free access to hibs tv is part of the deal we already have. Most of our support never purchased a season ticket in the knowledge they probably wouldn’t get to see many games this season (club was clear the only way to see every game is to buy a season ticket). I bought a season ticket and would have anyway, but I wouldn’t be chuffed paying double for our games as wee joe down the road who is paying per game.
Surely if you bought your season ticket it was to be the first back in the ground? I know that’s why I got mine. There’s no guarantee that non st’s will get to see Hibs live at all this season, certainly I’d imagine not before Christmas. Would charging them £20 to watch at home still be getting value for money out of your season ticket when they’ll be watching a game that you’re in the stadium for? It’ll just be something else the club have got massively wrong if they charge any more than £15
There's no guarantees that anyone will get to see Hibs live this season.
I bought a season ticket to help the club out and to guarantee keeping my same seat that I've had for the last 10 years.
If we all end up viewing the entire season from the sofa, it's entirely possible that, from October onwards, non-season ticket holders will be viewing games for around half the price of season ticket holders. That can't be right.
Correct. If we end up back in the stadium then revisit the PPV prices and look to lower them. If I’m sat at home next door to a non STH and he’s getting it for £10 per game cheaper than me then I’m afraid I wouldn’t be too happy.
Of course my commitment was a financial ‘donation’ to the club, but now we have football I expect a bit of respect for that. Those PPV fans can make the same financial donation each home game if they like.
Personally think the clubs charging £12-50 have got in right. Watching a live stream is clearly not even close to watching a game in the stadium, so charging the equivalent of a season ticket price per game seems a bit of a rip off to me. International subscribers are getting home and away games for £180 a year and I doubt anyone grudges them that price (I certainly don't) so I don't have an issue with charging PPV games for anything around a tenner.
When season tickets were originally sold, I thought there was a chance we would be back in October or so, and realistically miss a handful of games. Now it's looking like it could be most of the season, so I think a PPV price commensurate with the season ticket (roughly £25) is correct, given where we now are
No matter what price Hibs charge there will be some people complaining about it. Maybe one reason Hibs decided not to do ppv for the Killie game was so we could see how much Aberdeen charge for theirs next week and with us now not having a home game not on Sky for quite a while, we can also gauge how well sales have gone for each club. That should help us calculate the best price to charge to maximise income.
Our next 2 home games are live on Sky, Rangers will almost definitely be live on Sky, so our first real chance to make a few bob is Hamilton. How many non-ST holders & Hamilton fans will pay £20-£25? Less than 100, I'd say. We'd make more money if we charge £10-£15. There's a sweet spot, If Eddie Hearn/Sky asked £50 for a Joshua fight, there'd be very few takers.
ST holders don’t all pay the same price, we’ve got different levels before you take on board that disabled and pensioners get to see the games cheaper than others. ST holders have got access to all home games and have kept their seats. Most claimed they were doing it to support the club.
PPV should be used to get more money into the club not to be used as a stick to beat the club. Rangers have 50000 STs and are charging a tenner so are there fans claiming they’ve been cheated by their club?
