Ok, the English Premiership is about to restart and seeing as we had a thread about who to support in the Bundesliga, it's only fair we do the same for England. I'll get the ball rolling, c'mon the Villa!!!!

Who plays in colors nearest to Hibs green?
I’ll take Liverpool
Everton!
long suffering supporters. When they inevitably fail to beat Liverpool in the forthcoming derby it’ll be 22 in a row. I feel a kinship with them
also a fabulous old traditional stadium, for now at least
Aston Villa, solely for one player. Guess who😁
Sheff Utd.
John Mcginn to play out his skin for the next 8 games to earn that big money move. Not fussed about the rest of it.

West Ham here...
For my sins. Which appear to be many.
Everton 💙
eagles!!!!!
Not adopting as I'm already a supporter and season ticket holder, but Newcastle for me. I've had enough of this takeover nonsense, need some Fitba
Go on John!!!:not worth
The Villa for me, come on super John.
John McGinn. :agree:
You could always follow the lower leagues! The Posh were on fire before Covid-19 came along, handily placed in 6th, just 3 points off the automatic promotion places and a goal difference of +28. Up the Posh!
Note: obviously this is a futile exercise as League One clubs voted to end the regular season last week and we got bumped out of the playoffs on PPG in exchange for Wycombe who'd plummeted from 1st to 8th in the preceding few months. If that wasn't annoying enough - Wycombe's game in hand that made all the difference was a postponed away trip to runaway leaders Coventry. If Ivan Toney now ends up with the Huns without playing another game for us I may just call time on football. Anyway, our extrovert Chairman was as chuffed as you can imagine :faf: but the toys have since been neatly popped back into the pram while we get on with preparing for next season. As it should be, of course.
Back on thread - I'll be following Villa for obvious SJM reasons.
Sky sports main event for fake crowd noise
Sky sports premier league to listen to the actual noise in the ground
I'll be sticking with Leeds
Which one plays in green?
Got to be Villa if any
For me my English team is Sunderland the reason purely that I watched Sunderland till I die to see Jack Ross and fell in love with the passion and community shown by the support which really reminded me of the hibs support and the key role hibs play in the leith community

I'd back Liverpool if they start wearing this kit again.

Manchester Utd and anyone playing Liverpool for me.
Blackpool, no more games this season obviously.
Everton
Villa for me, even before SJM went there. Des Bremner is a distant relation!
I'm wishing Everton beat Liverpool so I'm giving them my support this weekend. (Sorry scouse)
My swedish team has played two, zero points so what do I know?
Come on you hatters....
Everton for years, Andy King volley v Liverpool did it for me. But Villa as well due to the legend that is Super John McGinn. My laddie has a villa tip with McGinn 7 on the back and the goldfish is also called John McGinn. I miss him😢😢😢
Arsenal. Pointless looking elsewhere, Red Hibs kit, always has been.
And they had a beautiful green away shirt in 82/83 too. Much better than anything Liverpool or Manure came up with.
Support Cheltenham all through the play offs please. Got a lot of friends there and a few of them are involved at the club. Great set up. Great people.
Everton all the way. Family connection with the Toffees so hoping for a surprise result on Sunday.
Berwick Rangers. Just because of 1967. That's all.
Plymouth Argyle.
For me it will be Nottingham Forest. 'Mon the Garibaldi Reds.

Spurs.
3 points against United, hopefully.
I am an Arsenal man too. My first time seeing them was at Tynecastle. My best friend was a HOMFC fan and I went with him and his dad to see them in a pre-season friendly in the early to mid eighties. My abiding memories were that the Arsenal players just looked bigger and stronger, and the bit of the Wheatfield we were sitting in had lots of graffiti from Aberdeen casuals!
I think HOMFC actually won the game but I don’t think Arsenal were overly bothered. They did bring up a small but noisy support. I was a child so had no idea, but I suspect they had a good night out in Edinburgh.
Everton (there seem to be a few of us)
Villa for me since des bremner was sold there great player.
Spurs for me.
All my in-laws are Yiddos.
J
english team is man united.
Dirty Leeds for me.
I used to dislike them, probably because they were winning everything but I've seen them in a different light since reading Roy Keane and Alex Ferguson's books. Loved the expectations and standards demanded of the players, had to be on it from the word go in training. Turning up on time wasn't good enough you had to be early etc. There were plenty that couldn't handle it but the ones that did became legends. Not sure that's so much the case these days sadly for them. Don't really follow English football but I'd pick them.
You're all more than welcome to come and support Cheltenham Town, quite a few Hibbys travel to the away games in the north of England ( and a couple of jambos, who are actually alright :duck:)
Two clubs for me are Hibs and Oxford. They’re like your own kids, no favourite but the love is unconditional.
Oxford have made the league 1 playoffs so give them a cheer if you can.
