David Murphy.
Can't see past Le God, although honourable mentions for Zitelli, Paco and Deek.
Lyndon Andrews

Fabrice Henry...
While a tad obvious, Latapy and Sauzee are definitely my favourites over that period. Although Deek has provided so many unexpected out-of-nothing moments of genius that he has to be up there.
I also think Ulrik Laursen deserves a mention for being so consistent during his time with us. I also don't seem to remember feeling any resentment towards him when he went to Celtic. He did it with as much class as such a move allows IIRC.
Deeko, Shields or more recently Jones (sadly missed IMO).
Sauzee and Latapy also get honourable mention.
Derek Riordan
Albert Kidd.
Rob Jones
deeks
Sauzee.. Luna and Deeks not far off.
Eduardo Hurtado
Franck by a country mile.
Sauzee was certainly the best and also my favourite.
My top 5:
1. Sauzee
2. Riordan
3. Latapy
4. Murphy
5. Sproule
Derek Riordan.
1. DEEKS!!!
2. Murphy

John Rankin.
Someone's gotta stick up for him.
I know it is favourite player, but I can't choose between my favourites... Riordan, Sproule and Scott Brown
Chris Hogg
Mixu
Derek Riordan :not worth
Murph
Cannae split Sauzee and Riordan, alright - Sauzee, but Deek can still catch him.
Sauzee by a mile.
Derek Riordan, closely followed by Ivan Sproule.
Can I have two? :greengrin
Sauzee or Murphy :agree:
Help yourself. Just get yourself a glass and turn your tap to cold :cool2:
The question was who is your 'favourite' Hibs player, not who is the 'best' player you've seen in the last decade. Where Latapy, Zemmama, Riordan, O'Connor, etc all do/did have 'it' if you will, personally, a player's character, attitude and commitment to the club mean far, far more to me than raw talent.
Chris Hogg is my favourite player because I've never come to respect anyone so greatly either in football or otherwise. I can't see that ever being the case again.
He's a solid, wholehearted and yet unspectacular player who has never given anything less than his all for the team. His attitude is exemplary. He has had nigh on 6 years at Hibs during which he has shown the utmost grace and regard to all concerned with the club, was part of one of select few cup-winning Hibs sides, and is now our club captain, whether you agree with it or not. For that at the very least, he deserves a great deal more respect than some appear willing to grant him.
As far as I'm concerned he's done fine for us. He had an excellent couple of years where he rightfully took numerous Player of the Year awards, and I can only pray this year brings him similar success. Confidence will play a key part in determining whether that will be the case or not.
To add to that, he has the finest outlook on football and life I think I've seen and is an absolute gem of a man. In a day and age where footballers seemingly occupy the front pages of the papers more often than the back, I'm proud that in Chris Hogg we have an outstanding ambassador for our club. That'll do for me any day of the week.

1. Latapy - Fantastic player.
2. De La Cruz - I know he wasn't great while he was here(well, apart from those 2 'heart sinking' goals of course ), but he was my favourite player back then regardless.
3. Luna
David Van Zanten- never one to shirk a challenge.
