McGinn wont be getting his place back. Villa 3-0 up.
Aston Villa 3-0 Brentford
Wolves 0-2 Leicester
Leeds 1-0 Fulham
Leeds 1-1 Fulham
Well deserved goal for Southampton. Got themselves back into this game well.
A really dreadful refereeing performance this has been tbh. Missed probably a dozen clear fouls on Jesus.
Ref at the Southampton v Arsenal game is dire.
Aston Villa 4-0 Brentford
Leeds 1-3 Fulham
Southampton 1-1 Arsenal
Wolves 0-4 Leicester
Leeds 2-3 Fulham
Huge blow for Arsenal, gives the chasing pack a big lift.
Very good performance from Southampton, well deserving of a point. City close the gap this weekend. Both should win next weekend.
Arsenal were sloppy but the ref was absolutely dreadful.
Hugo Lloris man :faf:
Oh my god, its gonna get disallowed.
Never mind, given. 1-0 Newcastle. Pure comedy from Lloris.
Newcastle 1 up. :partyhibb
Harry Kane will be diving all over the place to try and get his team back in the game.
I think VAR has had a nightmare first weekend in Scotland so thankfully it didn't overturn that decision by the ref. 100% a good goal and Lloris just made a James Hunt of it
Tottenham 0-2 Newcastle
Oh this is just sad.
Almeron is having some season so far, couldn't score in a brothel last season, shows what good coaching can do.
The Toon are flying, upto 4th as it stands.
Kane likes to get involved with refereeing the game, his status as a key England player helps him with snidey fouls.
Horrendous from Lloris but if that's the other way around and Wilson runs into Lloris with Lloris raising his arm around him as Wilson done then he's probably getting sent off.
Looking at the bottom of the premier league and it's really close though if I had to pick 3 for the drop I'd probably pick the 3 that's in relegation places now
Tottenham 1-2 Newcastle
Blatant pen not given for Newcastle and Spurs go and score. Some laugh referees are. Having an absolutely nightmare this weekend.
Newcastle have unlimited wealth, but won't FFP be their problem? I'm sure the rules are now very different from when Man City were taken over.
Do Newcastle want to play football this second half? 😂
other than Bournemouth at home leeds have
Liverpool-A
Spurs-A
Man city-H
Newcastle-A
Duck Egg Points out of that lot
A good win for Newcastle, were unlucky not to get a point at Anfield too. The time wasting is brutal but Howe grinds out results. Kulusevski a big miss for Spurs, he's clearly one of their most important players.
Roma vs Napoli later. Looking forward to that.
This time last year Newcastle looked relegation certainties; now they are fourth and have barely started splashing the cash. Good times for them.
Well happy with that result and Kane’s pus is a picture.

Man City the only team to win this weekend from the 'top six'. I'll be surprised if they don't go into the World Cup top of the league.
Ffp seems to be a bit of a joke. The big clubs just get round it somehow.
The authorities are allowing some real dodgy / dangerous characters through Fit & proper person style tests or through what is pretty obviously proxy ownership so aiding and abetting them sneak through FFP is a formality.

Maybe they have tightened the rules up but I'm not sure either . I do think both City and Chelsea have had fines and I think maybe banned from making signings in a transfer window too ( might be wrong on that ) My point though is if Newcastle want they Can go out spend 3 or 4 hundred million and get what they want and I don't think a transfer ban and fine would bother them much . Doesn't make it right I know .
Barcelona v Athletic Bilbao ITV4 2000 tonight.
Yeah Kane wanted away a couple of seasons back when Man city wanted him , He never turned up for training trying to force a move away But Daniel Leavy said naw
Christ if Kane had stayed at Norwich he would have 2 championship medals :tee hee::tee hee:
Probably be the EPL top goalscorer of all time soon enough but with no trophies in his entire career , That pleases me :cb
2-0 Barcelona, Roberto.
3-0 Barcelona, Lewandowski.
Ajax, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Sporting Lisbon, Barcelona, Juventus, Sevilla & Shakhtar the teams currently facing joining the Europa League after the World Cup. Potentially some great ties there with the mix of Man Utd, Arsenal & Roma too.
Napoli take the lead in Rome. What a goal!
4-0 Barcelona, Torres.
Pollock Annan in the Cup on BBC Scotland just about to start
Well, I just turned 57 and I do like my footy, not just Hibs. I really enjoyed the Cumnock v Dumbarton game on Friday (1-3). 1-0 Pollock as I type. I would like to live long enough to meet someone outside of Scotland who has heard of Hearts though :-)
Solanke for Bournemouth wearing gloves, what a ****** wimp.
1-1. Lovely side footed finish - McCartney I think
2-1 Pollock and what a freakin' strike that was. If you're not watching it, you're missing out. HT
Hammers game has been quite dire so far.
West Ham 1-0 Bournemouth
