So basically just the Champions league on repeat.

Lots of friendlies happening in Scotland today.
Falkirk were 3 nil down to Edinburgh city at half time, currently 3-2
I'm quite looking forward to the last 8, there hasn't been so much going through the motions as I thought there might be.
I’ll be honest I haven’t even watched a minute of it.
BBC reporting that Chelsea and Manchester City, using the tournament as financing their summer signings. I know it doesn’t affect Scotland, but it’s widening the gap between the teams in it, and those who didn’t get in

just noticed Sky sports have Motherwell v Hibernian from 2010 as their greatest SPFL game
2nd half just started 2-4
shirly we'll win this now :)
Hibs up 6-2 now, no way whatsoever are we losing this one
Looking forward to the u21 final at 8pm, Germany did beat them in the group stage but anything can happen in a final.
England 3 v 2 Germany
Extra time being played
Marseilles Johnathan Rowe scores the winner (?)
Doesn’t seem right watching football this time of year in a non wc euros year.
Back to back Euro triumphs for the young Lions England 🏴 squad
3-2 England. Was a cracking game.
The U21s is strange. They’ve just won back to back Euros but hardly any of them will be at the World Cup next season. Livramento will have a good chance but that’ll be about it. Quansah maybe.
That’s not the point I was making (or trying to make).
When they’re not under 21, I don’t think many of that squad will go on to be senior internationals. In fact, most of them aren’t even under 21. That’s not a dig at England by the way, Germany had several players playing that are already 23! There won’t be many on that park tonight who go on to play much at senior international level. The good players have generally outgrown that level by that type of age.
Probably not. But I don’t think too many of them are still playing for the 21s when they’re 22 getting on for 23.
Harvey Elliott is a good example. Arguably the best player in the tournament but hardly played at club level all year and not someone I see becoming an international player.
England team in the tournament actually had some really good Premier League players in it, like Anderson and Livramento. I just think the whole U21 thing is a bit skewed and misleading. And as I say, I don’t just apply that to England.
Good win no doubt. Given the literally billions of pounds pumped into the premiership and academy system down south England absolutely should be doing well in these competitions. Saw some of the games and most i watched were very good with plenty goals in them. Public holiday tomorrow? :greengrin
That was a decent final last night, Germany hitting the bar twice, first at the end of the 90th to win it and then again at the end of extra time to take it to pens.
German striker Woltemade looked good, good feet for a big lad.
In a way.
Although qualifying for and playing a tournament takes that long that you kind of understand it.
It would be just as much nonsense if guys that were eligible to play and qualify for a finals, were then not allowed to play the finals.
If the rules are the same for everyone then who is it hurting?
