Yep although I did notice a change in the staff recently. The manager was poached from the well known hotel but he was punted when they started trying to control staff costs and that signalled the start of real problems imo.Quote:

I went to Butternut Squash down at Portobello last week. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. It's nothing fancy, but the food was good and it was byob and the people working there were really nice.
Tried Burger on Shandwick Place on Wednesday night. Quite impressed with the blue cheese burger especially as I could eat it without the need for a knife and fork as a burger should be.

Tried Tony Singhs new offering in the Apex at the grassmarket. Total rubbish, talk about someone not really giving a **** about what they put their name too. Poor service,raw chicken wings, bland fishballs, burnt haggis pakora, and the rest. The menu sounds so inviting too "fusion food" my erse.
