I thought everything was okay though as they got to keep Wilson??? :na na:
They've got these friendly matches lined up too. We were told these would be full to capacity with the baked cakes selling out (wee fat robbo loves cake) so surely #allisbarry?
See they are now doing stadium tours at £6 a pop. That will raise a lot............
£6 well spent
"over there is a stand we don't own.
And over there is another stand we don't own.
Over there is where the 5-1 1902 hobos sit (cue cheers) in a stand that, you got it, we don't own.
And finally here's a stand that is unsafe.
And we don't own it either"
From EEN.
Surprised they are not selling spare seats, or maybe it's a mini bus.Quote:
Hearts, who were placed in administration at the end of last month, will travel to England for free after a bus was laid on by local company Charlie Irons, and Locke admitted that the club would not have been able to travel south for the match otherwise.
He added: “The financial situation at the club means that there is no way we would have had the money to go splashing out on a team bus to take us to Manchester.
“Fortunately for us, Charlie has come in and offered to take us there and back for free, which is a fantastic gesture.
Hearts are a shambolic, sad excuse of a football club.
The really sad thing (and i mean this) is there are poor fans out there who are struggling to make ends meet and instead of supporting their families, they are paying money to footballers who are earning multiples of what they earn.
It is really sickening if im being honest.
"And here, oh watch out for that rain coming through, oh and please ignore those fine strands of asbestos.
Davie here is selling a fuine range of umbrellas and facemaske at £4 and £6 respectively, all proceeds go to Lithuania.
Dig deep guys, we are the Big Team, 5-1, 1902, killed the Hibs, etc."

I read that article and thought it was yet another 'Headline-detached-from-story'.
Nothing in the article suggested anyone had new fears or related the lack of sales to impending doom. The article writer was actually trying to put a faintly positive slant on their fund raising.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying #allisbarry, just that the article/headline was a bit pointless
Maybe he needs to keep the yam support onside to help sales.....
I also see the yams have charlie irons to thank for free transport to play some friendly down south. Gary Cocke was saying how grateful he was as without the offer they wouldn't be able to play the game.....why cant they be like any other amateur team and go down in cars ?.......

Free buses for tax dodgers :bitchy If ever I need a coach it winnae be fae them.
I honestly cant see anything other than liquidation and a start in the lowest division - all without as much as a whimper.
No amount of fundraising will keep them in the SPL - they need a multimillion pound injection and a great deal of luck. They need a free buss FFS to get them to friendly matches.
Derby fixtures will be put on hold for some years (I wouldn't count on them coming straight back up).
They'll still exist, with a far smaller base of die-hard supporters, still call themselves HoMFC.
In the mean time, they've bled the genuine supporters dry and they've no money left to buy anything next season and it'll take them years to build any savings back up and pay of personal debts.
Just been reading the Lithuanian president's priorities (in the Lithuania Tribune online) now her country has become president of the EU for the next six months. Not a word abouit saving the Hearts from going into liquidation as Ian (I'm a MP) Murray would have us believe.

And it is people like John Robertson and Gary MacKay (both very well off) that should be held responsible if this whole thing collapses. They're the ones who pushed the share issue and are enticing people to part with money they might not be able to afford. And BDO have their own self interest in wrestling money out of Yam Fan hands - bet a lot of it goes to pay them. The whole thing stinks and in any other industry would be labelled a scam.
Hope they remember to apply for tax credits.
Deadline is 31st July i think.
If Hearts can't afford the bus fare to Manchester how are they going to get to N Ireland in a few weeks & where will they stay, will they be sleeping rough. :lolyam:
I suppose they could hitch a lift from any fans travelling over.
