Not sure how you reach that conclusion based on Dylan’s comments, but each to their own!

They average 3,000 less than us per game. A great success. Mmm. Without Milne pumping in his millions he would not have outbid other clubs for players. Given the funds they have had a poor return. Look at how much he's had to spend and his team has loads of youngsters as his signings have mostly been poor. More importantly would you watch them every second week. No chance
Yep, every time we play them I leave thankful that I don’t have to watch them play every week. If they’d won maybe 3 or 4 trophies in his time there it would maybe make sense but I don’t get why anyone thinks it’s worth it watching a team playing 6/7 defenders from the start regularly to win 1 trophy in 6 years or whatever it is
Almost two weeks into the transfer window, I await the first signing at Tynecastle with some interest.
Will this monumental world event be accompanied by maroon coloured smoke emanating from the sacred bowels of Tynecastle?
Wonder what Stendel said to Joey Barton to annoy him a year or so ago.
English is always there as a Budge/ Hearts apologist whenever they want it....

I had a look on their pitch thread, and their (plausible) explanation appears to be that it's all down to Queenie's vanity project. These hybrid pitches need to be skimmed and re-seeded in the summer to encourage and strengthen the root system, but she knocked back the necessary work in order to stage the concert.
... and while I was over there, I was pointed at this yam 'must have'

From the blurb:
"Once you've tried it, it's hard to stop, so we recommend buying this bar two or three at a time!"
... at 4 quid a pop! Looks like everybody sees them coming :faf:
As a club over the last 3 decades we have averaged one trophy win every 10 years. If Jack Ross only wins one solitary trophy over the next 6 years I’d be delighted.
If Hibs finish 3rd or 4th this season I’ll consider that a success. We have only had back-to-back top 4 finishes once since the days of Turnbull’s tornadoes. If that wouldn’t be considered success for us then I’m not sure what would.
So for saying McInness is a good manager I’m “bumming” him up and desperate for Hibs to fail? This isn’t primary School for christ sake, it’s possible to debate the merits (or lack thereof) of a rival player/manager without wanting to “bum” him up.
McInnes is a very good manager at this level, to suggest otherwise is nonsense.
..................is what you said - you made a bold statement and said that any other viewpoint was nonsense. That isnt debate so stop pretending you are the only adult in the room
I questioned DM "achievements", and you dont like it. Sorry about that, but I am still right that - on trophies won which is all that actually counts - Stubbs and Hughes were more successful on a fraction of the money thrown at McInnes.
And I will say again, plenty of Aberdeen fans agree that viewpoint.
The difference is that McInnes is being made out to be some sort of miracle worker when actually he’s been alright at best and done what would really have been expected of him. The penny seems to have dropped for the majority of the support as can be seen by how quickly they’ve turned on him after bad results in the last 2 seasons.
Not the best article but he has the measure of his subject in the last 2 paragraphs
There is no argument for maintaining the status quo at Tynecastle but Berra, Whelan and Daly are still trying to make that case. Stendel is trying to push on, as he needs to.
Nobody knows if Stendel is up to to the task of unravelling the mess that Levein and his coaching staff left behind, but those whingeing about him for making these changes are not exactly cognisant of the full horror of the situation Hearts are in - or the role they played in putting them there.
Can we leave this thread to ripping it out of the Tarts. Leave Aberdeen and McWinless for another thread
:greengrin
I doubt English believes a word of the guff he’s written here.
It’s not about Stendel’s decision making - it’s his man management. To piss off three guys like that so quickly is some doing.
Mind you, every journo wants unfettered access to Hearts right now. Just tell Hyacinth Budget she’s doing the right thing and she’ll keep inviting them back for more of this epic season.
Matty Kennedy has agreed a pre contract with Aberdeen supposedly, even after a late attempt by Hearts which included Berra (reported by the sun).
Doyle the latest to be told he can leave Hearts
If true as reported, that's a completely hilarious insight into their operational 'strategy.'
Offering a player with absolutely zero transfer value completely negates the point of a player-swap + cash transaction, but I'm sure even Budge or Levein must know that, surely.
