More roster refurbishment news on Monday?
One of the Everton players I mentioned last week is definitely Fraser Hornby, he’s going on pre season with Everton before any decision is made about where he plays his football next season but it’s likely he’ll be going out on loan.
Apprently we have been sold, according to some on twitter 😂...
Surely shareholders would be aware of a sale?
Given the media world these days I would say it's unlikely there wouldn't have been leaks about it by now but it's a funny old world. Only thing I would say is STF is an old man now with not the best health so (purely speculating) Hibs may be looking at legacy and sustainability moving into the next era. Who knows.
I suppose the economist in me says we (and STF and Rod) are in a great position to sell and make hay when crowds are at an all-time high, the infrastructure is near enough complete, and the club are in the top flight and challenging for honours, and there are some very talented people at the helm and in communications - so there would be a demand.
Most important thing for any new owners is to get better pies :greengrin that's my main concern.
This is a belter of a rumour! 200 pages by teatime guaranteed!
When I searched "Hibs Takeover" on Twitter, a random no-mark journo in Italy tweeted something about a consortium had approached Hibs. But the tweet was back in April.
Silly season has well and truly begun.
Ordinarily they'd only have to show their hand when they'd hoovered up a substantial amount of shares, in this case it could be more complicated than that if they were just buying all of the holding companies shares in one go(?).
I don't know if it's as simple as this, we need a real expert[emoji16]
Doubt the whole story personally. Surely they'd want to buy the yams? That stand, castle view, reduced size stadium so easy to maintain....
