I remember leaving that game thinking to myself that Celtic fans were acting like they just won a league game that meant nothing.

I'll never forget them beating us in a league cup semi final a number of years ago, they won 4-2 or 5-2 not sure, but their celebrations at reaching the final were muted to say the least. The most half arsed YNWA I've ever heard.
Every day I'm grateful to support a team where winning things actually still really matters (though I obviously wish it was a wee bit more frequent!)
Trent silences some of his critics
att 43, 632 at Hampden
They will NEVER experience anything near what we did on 21.05.2016. Celtic fans will try kid you (and themselves) that its as sepcial and its just jealousy etc etc and yea maybe there is a bit of jealously at not winning a trophy at least once a season EVERY season i'm not gonna lie but it must just become so mundane.
Winning a cup to them is like "ah yay very good now up the road for tea". Compare that to the utter madness, emotion and sheer high of our cup win.

Is the 49’s deal to buy a share in Rangers, still conditional on Leeds getting promoted, or has it moved on since then
Leeds the closest thing I have to “an English club” (good links to the city) so delighted to see them running riot here.
There are moves afoot to bring the Championship dual-ownership rules into line with the PL, which would remove the problem. However, the vote on that isn't likely to take place until after the summer, and it's not certain it will pass.
So, if Leeds don't get promoted, the RFC deal might be in limbo for a while.
Hull 0 PNE 1
Portsmouth 1 Watford 0
QPR 0 Swansea 1

Thanks. I saw this report morning that they aim to have 51% of Rangers shares?

Leeds go NAP
four for Piroe
Millwall 2 Norwich 1
Plymouth 2 Coventry 1
Thing for Leeds is they're going to have to spend a lot in the summer to have any chance of staying up. The gap between the 17 established clubs and the 3 who come up each year is growing every year.
Rampant Leeds promotion with a flourish, 5-0.
Wish Leeds nothing but ill. Hopefully go straight back down next year. They're a bit jambo-esque
Leeds fans when a Stoke player is lying down " He's had enough" repeat 🤣
It is becoming increasingly difficult for a Championship club to establish themselves in the EPL.
Leeds will need a significant upgrade throughout their side to stay up next season. What is in their favour is that they appear a fair bit better, in an attacking sense, than the other Championship clubs so will likely finish above at least the other promoted two. Can see them targeting Wolves and maybe West Ham. And hoping for a drop off in the likes of Crystal Palace and Fulham, who may lose some of their better players.
Will have to start well, cos they don't want to start sacking managers, which won't end well.
