Townes Van Zandt.
They don’t make ‘em like him no more.
My birthday present of Taylor Swift 1989 on baby blue vinyl. 😊 Followed by Meddle by Pink Floyd, my wife is indulging me 😁
Ringo's latest EP.
Tonight I am mostly listening to the misfitsAttachment 27391
Having a vinyl night while the wife watches strictly.
Bob Marley’s Exodus with my favourite of his Survival on next.
Niteworks with the SSO at Celtic Connections
Bert Jansch, West Pilton's finest and a distant relative of mine. He would have been 80 last week.
Youssou N'Dour and Super Etioile de Dakar - Nelson Mandela on vinyl. Pure bliss.
Lil Louis - From the mind of Lil Louis
Picked up the S cumbag Millionaire album, all time low, which came out couple of months back. It's very good indeed and similar to Scandinavian punk from 90s and early 2000s. Think Turbonegro and the hellacopters, more so the former imho.
Also getting a bit of play just now are the classic 80s hardcore ep Pick your King by Poison Idea and wanna smash sensation by Canadian 90s pop punkers BUM.
The new Peter Gabriel album is quite astonishingly good.
Dark side of the moon at Dynamic Earth Planetarium. It was sensational!!
My candidate for track of the album. Resonates for the older listener, I think.

Unexpected return to form for Death Cab For Cutie with Asphalt Meadows, not classic DCFC but miles better than their last few offerings.
Same can't be said for the new "number 1" album from Shed Seven. Sounds like The Zutons with worse lyrics. Brutal.
Watched the Burns night thing on BBC Scotland, pretty good mix even though I'm not a burns fan
Right now though I'm watching Raye live from the Royal Albert Hall on iPlayer. Outstanding, never heard of her until the Brits nominations, but I have to get the live double album of the concert.
The castros. Band from Glenrothes. Lead singer Brad is a good hibby as well.
Hifi Sean and David Mcalmont in preparation for the gig on Thursday.

I’m listening to Robin Trower’s Bridge of Sighs. Not a great fan of his guitar style but what a voice James Dewar had. Vastly underrated as a vocalist and was a decent bass bass player to boot.
