Reckon we should mobilise a squad of a few dozen Hibbies, get some banners, smokebombs, placards etc and head down to Tynie.

Hearts staff furious with Fedotovas email

HEARTS staff are furious after outgoing directors signed off from duty in an email and left employees fearing for their jobs.
The club officially entered administration yesterday as auditing firm BDO began work at Tynecastle. However, no board member appeared in person to address employees or apologise for the fallen Lithuanian regime.
Instead, director Sergejus Fedotovas sent an email to all staff thanking them for their “enormous efforts” and wishing them well under a “new regime”. The Evening News can reveal that Fedotovas’ fellow director Vitalijus Vasiliauskas was in Edinburgh on Sunday to sign papers signalling Hearts’ intent to enter administration. However, he flew back to Lithuania on Monday and chose not to speak to staff.
The only other board member, chairman Roman Romanov, has not been seen at the club in more than five years since he claimed Scottish football was “fixed” during Hearts’ AGM in April 2008. A source close to Tynecastle said today: “The staff feel let down that they weren’t given a face-to-face address by any of the directors. While the email was welcomed, it was lacking in an admission of guilt on the board’s part.
“That’s something they’ve been culpable of since coming in. It’s never been their fault. They’re gone now, which is the bottom line, so things can move forward hopefully. I would think we’re unlikely to see them back in Edinburgh.”
:agree: Exactly! They keep reasoning with themselves that it's ok to be where they are. Even now they're in administration they've managed to come to the consensus that they will be out soon debt free and second in the spl. It's actually worrying that a team with 140 years of history can go down without much more than a cough and splutter.

Staying about 100yds from Swynie, I am only too pleased to offer my services. I will get papers and sarnies from greggs for all workies involved with the demolition process.
Hearts fans genuinely believe that this whole Admin/BDO thing was carefully orchestrated to get them over to new owners debt free as quickly as possible. They've no comprehension that their club is teetering on the edge of liquidation. They really don't understand that not only do the administrators need to find a buyer who wants to pay for a club thats crippled financially but also find a hefty amount of cash to keep them running every day. BDO can't pull the same dirty tricks the previous regime pulled to keep them afloat (delaying tax etc).
Hearts staff told all cuts will be made by end of play today (per the live feed - cheers for that Sergey)
Ryan Stevenson - I wonder..............
Erm, hi darling, it's me... I erm, don't have good news........
Administrators told staff they hope to retain majority of playing staff. But some will need to be sold.

Not nice to see anybody loose their jobs in the current climate.
Administrators told staff that they hope to meet with one of the parties interested in buying the club today.
This is the bit Idont get......why would anyone BUY a player from hearts knowing full well if they dont, they would be able to pick them up for free in a week or 2 any way? Add to the fact they actually dont have many, if any, players worth a bean......BDO should do the hounorable thing and just padlock the gates tonight and be done with it.
anyone know who the potential buyer is?
They need to find a hefty amount of cash to pay their own fees (these guys do not come cheap) and THEN they need to find a hefty amount of cash to keep the Yams running day to day. I reckon they may quickly come to theconclusion that liquidation is the only option. :greengrin
