A BBC Panorama team has been threatened following a programme about a suspected crime boss's influence in world boxing.
Police in Northern Ireland have warned about an unspecified threat from unnamed criminal elements in relation to the programme, broadcast on Monday.
I didn't actually watch it , but I was quite surprised at some of the comments that came over my timeline on twitter about people being shocked/ surprised about " the mob " being involved in boxing. Having recently watched the documentary on Sky about Sonny Liston where one of the contributors said that boxing has always been crooked nothing about Boxing surprises meQuote:

Absolutely scandalous. 117-111 is a joke. Foreign fighters will just stop coming to In fight in U.K. seems to constantly be the same judges.
We used to despair at the scoring from judges in other countries, but Britain is up there with the worst in the world these days. I think Barret probably edged it, but the scorecards were ridiculous.
