,
In the last few days I've changed my mind. Their manager and player defending a potential career ending assault (I refuse to call it an attempted challenge) on another player, looking for reasons to rationalise one of their fans throwing a smoke canister at the feet of a six year old child, the reaction the ball boy incident (I was angry with the trumpet in our crowd whn I heard of that but when the 13yo laddie handed himself into the police it should have ended there and at no point should it have decended into threats), showering Hibs fans with coins, the sectarian singing that was clearly heard on TV, the smashing up of the seats and bathrooms at the end of the Scottish cup game and an unbelievable thread over there discussing vandalising the Leith area with stickers before the semi-final game played at our stadium.
Not to mention playing players they can't afford, the late payments, the local businesses that this affects, the songs about Tony Mowbray's wife, the length of time it took to deal with Craig Thomson (and even then he was only punted out on loan).
Most of all it's the arrogance of their fans that have made me change my mind. I know a few Hearts fans and although most are alright there's a couple who if you bring any of that up with them they'll go "5-1, still hurting" when it's not the case. If you're happy to paper over the irresponsible running of your club with the result of a cup final then well done to you. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture of how that result has damn near bankrupted your club and could still do so.
Change my vote to the camp wanting to see that lot go into liquidation.
