Off to see Hamish Stuart band ( AWB lead singer )at the Assembly on the mound tonight, part of the Jazz festival, support is a brilliant Edinburgh band James Brown is Annie, weird name but cracking bit of jazz funky soul
Saw The Orb last night in a pub in Cambridge, brilliant gig, greatest "hits" set more dancey than ambient and a very cool crowd

Off to Dekmantel festival in Amsterdam this weekend, absolutely buzzing.
Going to be taking in the likes of Jeff Mills, Andrew Weatherall, Róisín Murphy, Danny Krivit, Kamaal Williams, and Ben UFO (amongst many others) over an action packed weekend.
Got pals playing Rebellion, Karl Morris ex Expoited and Subs, regular fixture with Billyclub. Plenty more, Steve "Vom" Ritchie with any band that needs a drummer we toured together for years in Germany
and it was always a riot haha honoury mentions to 999, GBH, Chelsea,and even Gwar and East Bay Ray there are a few more I have worked with over the years but am just too tired to go on the road again or remember. Oh, Anti Nowhere League, that was a night in North Carolina

I’m going to see Neneh Cherry at Leith Theatre on Saturday. St Etienne in October at the Queens Hall. Just booked tickets for Bjork at the Hydro. Great seats but £74!
Dwarves were absolutely superb. He who cannot be named was absent so no nakedness. Have to say it's the best I've seen them.

Kate Tempest at Leith Theatre last night was immense.
Neneh Cherry was superb last night. Her newer material sounded even better live. Leith Theatre is a good venue. First time I’d been.
