Aye, found it and have watched the first episode.
Must recommend The Consultant on Amazon Prime.

Series 2 of Vigil confirmed for 10 December. Enjoyed the first one. Dougray Scott is in the new one.
Squid games season 2 out on Netflix , Taken a while for season 2 to come out but it's here !
Watched a series on Disney plus over the last week.
Mr Inbetween. Really recommend it. About an Aussie hitman trying to balance raising his daughter etc. black comedy drama is probably best way of describing it.
It’s from 2019-2021 and there’s 3 seasons but only a total of about 26 episodes.

There are so many good dramas.
I thought Slow horses was excellent. Gary Oldman is superb.
The Offer was terrific, especially if you loved The Godfather, and Money Heist (in Spanish with English subtitles) is immense.
I'm watching series 5 of Ray Donovan and the way they're telling the story is very good.
I'm sure you'll have seen most of the popular ones.
Edit: Upright with Tim Minchin was good too.
Started watching the shrink next door today, Paul Rudd and Will Farrell (Apple Tv) it’s good, it’s a true story about a New York shrink taking advantage of one of his clients.
2 Doors Down started again last night, great as usual
Really enjoying Kin season 1 on BBC I player
I watched Stars banged up this week. Clearly it’s all set up for the cameras, but I’d bet every crime/ incident described was genuine at some point, as well as the stories told by inmates. Obviously the wardens looked the other way when it came to drugs phones and alcohol, but I thought it was a pretty accurate representation of what life in prison is like. I find it hard to reconcile my feelings on the subject, I want proper punishment for people who deserve it, but I want rehabilitation to be the main driving factor, even if you go into prison a lost cause, there should be something in there that makes you refocus.
Doctor Who. JK Rowling must be beelin' 😂😂😂
Kin season 2 is way better
Dodgy stick if you have one.
Not sure how long before it's on the iPlayer. Rte released in May this year.
I'm expecting season 3 to be the same time next year
Anyone watched Lodge 49? Think I stumbled upon it from IMDB-ing Wyatt Russell and seeing it listed and wondering what it was. Watched the first episode and thought it was quite good. A little bit like if Wes Anderson’s was to do The Big Lebowski.
A very Brassic Xmas, 21st December 10pm, Sky Max. Happy days.
Just watched the final ever episode of Breeders, a hugely underrated show.
S3 of Slow Horses now on Apple.
Kin seasons 1&2 :top marks
Doctor Who!!!
Brilliant 3 specials. And the regeneration!!!
Finished Line of Duty series one on iplayer and fail to understand how it gripped the nation. I'll persist and see if it improves though I doubt it.
It's riddled with clichés and one or two of the cops are straight out of Rada. Paul Higgins, so good in The Thick of It, sounds like he's had a crash course in received pronunciation.
What an absolute farce the last series of the Crown has been!
It started to lose its way in the last series but they have definitely jumped the shark now.
Pity as I enjoyed the early series
Imelda Staunton superb on Brassic Xmas Special. 👏
Banshee :top marks
Christmas Day Dr Who Absolutely superb, best Christmas episode ever , so much going on. Looking forward to the new series next year
Enjoyed Vanishing Act (true story) on STV
Godless on Netflix. Excellent mini series. Much more than just a cowboy and Indian story. Excellent acting, riveting storyline, stunning visuals. Has probably one of the best shoot em up scenes of any film I have seen. Even if cowboy films are not your thing, this is well worth a watch. (Warning a bit gory at times).
Reacher season 1 :top marks
Season 2 up next over the next few days , Bit shan only 4 episodes though
Finally watched Ted Lasso. Will try and give it more than one episode but don’t think it’s for me. Felt basically all the non Jason Sudekis characters were wooden and their scenes felt forced, and not the deliberate fish out of water type characters. Will try another episode before giving up.
Just finished the US Office and overall thought it was brilliant. They maybe hung it out a couple seasons more than needed but still really enjoyed it. I was a big fan of the UK version but think the US version topped it. Steve Carell is superb throughout.
How is Ricky Gervais's Armageddon the hottest thing on netflix? It's brutal.
The Tourist second series on BBC iplayer, I dont know what to make of it as its just absolute radge 🤣
Season 1 was great and the plot was well laid out and worked well over the series. I feared season 2 would fall down on that side but like you say the whole 110 team storyline has me even more intrigued. Not a show I thought I’d like but turns out it got me hooked. I’m only up to Ep3 on S2 just now.
He's starting to come across as a bully, taking shots at groups of people and then telling them "you're too easily offended". It was bad patter on the school playground and it's awful patter on stage, those that laugh at that kind of **** probably enjoyed watching the fat kid at school get picked on.
Watching Fool me once on netflix, I dont know why I bother with these Harlan Coben things not enjoyed any of them, mrs loves them though
His stand up has always been second rate. Not terrible but nowhere near the elite. I always think the key to good stand up is making it seem off the cuff even though everyone knows it isn't. Gervais has always comes over as scripted.
He's a fantastic writer but his stand up has never been for me. It's nothing to do with being offended either, it's similar to Jimmy Carr's recent output. 'Ooh is this too much for you, are you offended, is it too edgy?' Nope, it's just watching guys who used to have 'it' increasingly turning into everything they used to mock.
I felt the same after the first few episodes and only stuck with it because my wife wanted to watch it. I ended up loving it.
It's totally ridiculous, the football scenes are laughably bad and it's a bit sugary. However if you park that sense of disbelief it's warm and genuinely funny.
Halfway through Mr Bates v The Post Office, what an horrendous experience it must've been for these folk to go through.
Enjoying The Winter King
I've started watching Road to a Million on Amazon. It's a reality competition which is supposed to be based on scenes from James Bond movies.
There are 9 teams of 2 who complete genuinely difficult challenges in order to find sets of questions.
If they answer correctly, they win increasing amounts of money, with a million on offer if they get them all right.
If they get a question wrong, they're eliminated.
Only watched the first episode of Truelove on Channel 4, it was always going to be a tad morbid due to the description of the programme but, Jesus! 😳
Looking like a pensioner version of Mayflies so far.
I’ve just watched the first two episodes of Alan Bates Versus The Post Office. Very well produced drama about the Post Office Horizon computer scandal. Well-made, well acted and very thought provoking. Anger provoking storyline that shames the devious, bullying tactics of the publicly owned company.
Genuinely difficult?
I thought it was pretty (off screen) scripted to be honest and gave up on it as a pile of poo.
The one where the dude turns up in an old car just in time to get the couple to the restaurant sums it up…somehow he knows what they are mumbling about and they then somehow find said restaurant and then merrily kick the door in.
A few seconds later they miraculously find some gloves and scales to try and deal with the spider…none of it seemed real or ‘genuine’ at all.
Half decent concept to be fair but apart from that I’m defo not a fan.
New series of The Traitors has been good so far. Watched all 3 episodes that are on iPlayer.
I'm sure I'd be rubbish at it. Far too many people I have already decided I dislike (I'm looking at you Dianne) and that would cloud my judgement.
Im loving it and exactly the same as you I took an instant dislike to Diane, Brian didnt help himself with his strange nervous outburst at the vote and Ive a funny feeling as Anthony has the final vote he is going to go for Brian and Ash will survive to face her traitor ish traitors
Next week is going to be fun 😃
Not watched it yet but Society of the Snow on Netflix looks good.
Watching the second series of Kin (on Fire stick, not sure when it airs here). Wasn't sure how it would fare against the first excellent series but its even better. The dad is a pure nutcase.
I'm on episode 5 of the first series of Kin.
Finding it a very good watch and I am delighted to learn that there is another series available. Cheers
