I agree. Think he’s done well in a poor Ross County team but, apart from anything else, I don’t think he’d play very much. We know Gray likes a physical presence so we’ll sign Myko or someone like Myko. They’ll then fight it out with Bowie to partner Boyle. I know we’ll need a squad but we still have Youan contracted (obviously a fair chance Youan will be away). Granted, Gayle is away but Youan would take his place in the squad initially. I don’t think a striker like Hale will be anywhere near being a priority.

He's publicly said he'd like to come back. I've not read or heard anything to suggest we're actively pursuing him though.

Gray is clearly a big fan of Myko and I reckon we'll see him back for the new season.

Interesting they’ve played down the former but not the latter.

I wonder if we are still interested in Julio Pleguezuelo, although it looks like he may have extended his contract earlier in the year. Wouldn't say no to Ryan Hardie although I'm sure a number of clubs would like him.

I know this is the Hibs Observer but who are the more credible groups for providing rumors or info? Genuine question, I'm out the loop completely.

Think them/Patrick McPartlin who reports for them are as good as it gets for Hibs information.

Almost seem like a bit of an unofficial spokesperson for the club at times

One thing I took from Alasanah Manneh’s performance against The The’s was how athletic he was and how good at pressing and intercepting passes he was.

You can see that we’ve targeted taller players up front and at the back, I think we’re beginning to see how SDG would like his midfield to be.

Even going by some of their recent signings and players they’re rumoured with

Steinwender - Signed in January and never looked brilliant
Kartum - As above and is a light weight right winger who cuts in. No real pace about him
Borchgrevink - Norwegian right back who signed a pre contract with them
Kyzidiris - left winger from Slovakian league

Heavily rumoured;

Soufiane El Faozi - Attacking midfielder playing in third tier of Germany
Chesnokov - Khazakstanian winger

No chance he plays half them

Funnily enough rumours of them signing Oisin McEntee who was rumoured with us a couple of months ago.

Aberdeen still offered him a deal and he knocked it back, so they are offering better wages. Wasn't long ago he was in the Scotland squad

They had to pay a fee for Borchgrevink and my Jambo chum , who btw is always there to tell me how much a player cost as it’s what big teams do, tells me he cost £650k

You forgot to add McCart to that list of meh signings. A fee paid for him too.

Hopefully they continue to sign more of the same.

Suspect the right back might be the pick of the bunch but if they had paid anywhere near that money we would have heard all about it.
Their signings now though starting to look like someone playing football manager and taking punts. Have a good feeling it will be an expensive hodgepodge mess
