I always associated the 49ers with Man U. Most comparisons dont work for various reasons. Raiders are definitely Millwall though.

Just curious what's peoples opinions on Jameis Winston, made some stupid decisions as he's 'learning' or something more serious?
Percy Harvin being traded to the jets??!!
Just saw that too, Harvin to the Jets for a conditional draft pick.
Strange one. I'm assuming Harvin has had a bust up with Seattle management or teammates? Bollah or Calvin able to fill us in?
there goes Harvins fantasy value :greengrin
Absolutely stunned. We gave up a 1st 3rd and 7th round pick for Harvin, paid him loads of money. So then after playing about 6 games for us we give him to the Jets for one 'conditional pick' (probably a mid rounder) in return for one of the most dynamic playmakers in the league.
Local Seattle radio saying he had a bad attitude and hadnt been practicing with the team. But still, its like we're giving him away for free! The coaches have just won a superbowl so they deserve some respect I suppose, but I just don't know what they're doing.
Seahawks net posters have split into happy clappers and bedwetters camps and are fighting amongst themselves :hilarious Sounds familiar?
How fit is he? Strange move on both sides me thinks, not just seattle.
Another absolute bargain if it is a mid round pick, wonder if the saints are regretting letting sproles go for a 5th round pick.
What about long term? Take it he's over his injury problems? Really don't get this move at all. No doubt he's a quality player but that being the case:
1) Why are they letting him go for what basically amounts to a free?
2) Why sign for us. Has he not seen us play. We are Tom Kite. Surely there's better teams out there who would take him?
3) Where does he fit into our plans? We've got Geno Smith at QB ffs. Our backs aint the greatest but given the events of the other night, you'd think we'd be sticking with the running game. He is gonna want targets. Is Smith gonna be able to find him (no doubt under double c0verege).
I have no answers for you mate. Its bizarre. He left the Vikes under a cloud too so maybe he's just trouble. On the other hand the seahawks players have tweeted theyre shocked/disappointed so he seems popular with his teammates.
He'll improve your team without a doubt. His debut is supposed to be vs the Bills.
Its starting to come out now. Seattle Times reporting Harvins anger management issues, attacked Golden Tate last season and Doug Baldwin in the locker room this season and didn't want to go on the field for the fourth quarter vs Dallas last week.
Hibs win and now Texas A&M @ Alabama you can't go wrong
aw aw man it's gonna be a blow out 24-0 Bama.
this could be embarrassing its 38-0 now.
45-0 at HT, Bama heavy 449 yards offence!
Been reading up on it, following it on NFL.COM and still can't get my head around it. Honestly can't see what we gain from it, especially when looking at the figures involved. To many questions to be asked between now and next season for us I'm afraid, which in itself is a sad state of affairs but is the bold truth at the end of the day :boo hoo:.
Still, at least the Buckeyes are fishing all over the puppies this year :greengrin:thumbsup:.
The more I think about it, the more I really like it. It's for a second round pick at worst. Also don't get too tied up in the figures as we're not actually on the hook for any guaranteed money after this year - just the remaining $7m for this year - that means we can renegotiate with him on more friendly terms.
Also the last troubled WR we took happened to be Braylon Edwards; didn't turn out too bad did it?
Some really good matchups today, Saints Lions, Panthers Packers, Bengals Colts, Giants Cowboys, 49ers Broncos just for starters. Seahawks at Rams in a fixture that always gives us trouble.
The packers start on fire!
bye weeks suck
3 drives, 3 TD's 21-0 Packers
WHAT A HIT, Giovanni Bernard just got levelled!!
What is happening in the Seattle game?!
Have the Redskins had enough of Kirk Cousins then? See Colt McCoy is now on.
Congrats Max - I hereby launch in the white fantasy flag for the season...
With the exception of the Packers defense, my team are a disaster tonight...again!
Wow. 91yd TD drive. Russell bringing us back into this single handed. Our offensive line is total garbage.
What a play by the rams on 4th down! Their punter is now 4/4 on passes this season!
Great finish for the Rams. Will be starting Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham next week. Stacy never got a snap all game
Wilson was magnificent but that was the best ive ever seen a special teams unit play. Well done Rams and the champions are now 3-3.
How bad are the giants!! No chance of a favour tonight!
The NFC south is just terrible. We are 2-4 and only 1 game off top spot.
The Division got really bad really quick.
Question for everyone, quite simple...Is Devin Hester a future hall of famer?
In my eyes yes as he's the greatest kick returner in the history of the game.
Just been chosen to go to a fans forum in London before the fan rally. Chance to meet Marshall Faulk, Warrick Dunn and Mick Luckhurst.
anyone going to the Detroit game at wembley tomorrow? whos favoured to win do you think? for selfish reasons i hope the lions have a big win :greengrin
The Lions will win imo.
i won't be there I'll be at the Hibs game.
Id love to be going. I cant see past a big Lions win, they have a very good D this year as well as their usual great passing game (Golden Tate on target for 100 catches this year, gutted Seattle let him go). One of the few teams still never to win a superbowl, am I right?
I'm quite sure the Lions have never even been to a Superbowl though I'm willing to be corrected...
Out of the clubs who have won it, the Jets currently have the longest drought - clubs such as the Lions, Cardinals, Jaguars, Titans, Bills, Vikings, Chargers and Eagles have never won it.
I think what I'm trying to say is that we have gone the longest amount of time without winning it. Even longer than any of the teams who have never won it.
Dam, that still isn't making any sense. If anyone knows what I'm trying to say, can you say it for me lol.
What a day, absolutely shattered.
Got up at 4:30 this morning to get a flight down south. Went to the fans forum which was excellent, great to here their stories and what goes on behind the scenes.
After the forum got on a private bus ran by the NFL to take us to the fan rally, again absolutely amazing. Great to see Megatron, Reggie etc in person. I met Shaun Gayle and Cecil Martin, got my eagles jersey signed by Cecil.
Can't wait for the game tomorrow, backing the Falcons (swayed by todays atmosphere) but can't see them winning.
growing up in the late 80's watching C4 football the bills were one of the top teams, how they never won a super bowl under jim kelly probably speaks volumes about the other top teams at the time, I got into NFL proper as a CH4 kid, Saints were awful but Chicago were an awesome team, a top D allied to a QB in McMahon who i try and compare to a aguy nowadays but fail, Denver had an awesome allround team back then and looking at them this season its pretty similar, growing up in the mid to late 80', it was relatively easy to pick up an amercan football jersey as long as you liked the Dolphins or Bears
Game day! Very much looking forward to this
Why take a field goal from the 4yard line when you're trailing by 3 TDs?
21-3 Atlanta.
Bit of a turn around.
Horrible throw by Ryan. Atlanta destructing a bit here. 21-13.
I love Golden Tate. Most underated player in the league :boo hoo:
Weird game. So many mistakes. Lions get lucky 22-21.
New England destroying the Bears
i reckon that's Geno done at the jets, Vick has pulled them right back in it.
also the Seahawks struggling again.
Thoroughly enjoyed my day out at Wembley today - was a superb game, full of thrills and spills and I had a stunning view into the bargain! £30 in the 'Gods' and you can see everything unfolding, without feeling miles away from the action.
The interception return that was ruled out was a shame as it was a stunning run. The pass from Stafford to Tate to get Detroit going in the second half was amazing and the finish was remarkable.
Despite the £7 for a hot-dog (though it WAS massive and fairly tasty in fairness) and £5.20 for a beer, I really enjoyed the day and I'm now trying to find a ticket for the Jaguars vs Cowboys game :greengrin
Bonus to come back in and see us annihilating Chicago, though for my fantasy team, it's a nightmare!
Wilson to Willson. TD. Hawks win:hibees
He was one of the first names on my sheet at the start of the draft. But IIRC someone else drafted him really high, like 3rd round. He led the league last year in least drops vs catch% and he's tough and blocks like a TE. Plus with Megatron on the opposite side he'll never get double teamed.
Always nice to break the 50 point barrier. :smug:
Whats the betting that the Jets make the superbowl and Hibs win the scottish cup in the same year :greengrin
Colts having a hard time against The Steelers
7-7 already looks to be a shoot out tonight
10-10 end of the first quarter
Saints playing really well so far. Not one punt yet in the whole game!
Don't know if I'm being really pessimistic but i can see the eagles missing the playoffs, need 2 wins against houston and carolina. Some really tough games coming up!!
pleasing!! Cowboys have the Cardinals next as well, feel a bit more positive than i did after sunday.
Well that's me out of the survivor pool after the Dallas loss.
December form came early for Dallas last night.
Losing to a 3rd string QB.
Huge game for the Saints tonight. A win takes us to the top of the Division with the next 3 games at home.
Hoping we can carry over from Sunday night. (also its a bit harsh to give us a SNF game then an away trip on the TNF)
up at the moment in the 4th quarter, cant see us losing this now
scored again 28-10 now goodnight carolina :)
super cam sacked 2 plays in a row, :greengrin Saints win :flag: nice wee break before 3 home games on the bounce, things are looking up at last.
Looking really good this week. Dominant game apart from q1.
We need to learn to just keep feeding Ingram the ball
Tony Romo in doubt for today with 2 small fractures in his back...
